Lost data, wasted time.  If you use this app, be sure to save after each line or half a line or whatever amount of text you don't want to have to enter again.

Also, unlike other apps, when sharing, this one won’t simply send the doc as a normal email body.  It sends as an attachment, requiring an extra step for paste jobs.

 Too frustrating.

no ads, in app purchase etc. it works with the files app.

feature requests (might update):
-transform text with elm functions
-find and replace
-syntax highlight
-work correctly with dvorak layout

my favorite text editor app Textor is removed from appstore. so lucky to find Eddie to replace it. Eddie is Light Efficiently and just like a plugin for icloud. thanks to the author.

I use this with my Synology and replaced the Notes App. All my notes are now in plain text and easily portable. No more lock-in. I am in control of my data again. The app is beautiful and works perfect. I can easily browse my notes on my Synology NAS at home. Thank you!

A simple text editor, and it even works with my iCloud documents! Lots of nice features like being able to change fonts.
