## What is EDDLYNN Exam?

EDDLYNN Exam is the secure exam client for institutions using the EDDLYNN assessment platform. Students at partner health-science colleges use it to take proctored, timed online examinations set by their faculty.

Key capabilities:
- Client-side AES-256 encrypted question delivery - questions never sit in plaintext outside the exam session
- Real-time proctoring signals (tab-switch, window-blur, resize detection) that faculty can monitor live during a sitting
- Offline-resilient answer autosave so a network blip never loses a response
- Single sign-on with the institution's own account, plus Google sign-in for verified students

EDDLYNN Exam is provisioned by your institution - accounts are created by your faculty or administrator, not by self-signup.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-15

• You can choose to be notified when an exam is scheduled and when it opens.

• A brief loss of network no longer signs you out or asks you to register your device again. If the app cannot reach the server it now says so plainly, keeps you signed in, and offers to try again.

• Submitting while offline is more reliable, and the app tells you what it is doing instead of going quiet.

• The side menu now closes completely in landscape. Previously a narrow strip could stay on screen beside the icon rail on newer iPhones.

• The app version and build number appear beneath Sign out, so you can tell us exactly which version you are looking at when you report something.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-03

This update makes the app steadier when the network drops during an exam.

• If your connection drops while you are handing in, your answers are kept on the device and sent as soon as you are back online. Attempts made while offline no longer use up your retries, and you can try again yourself at any point.
• Losing connection while the device is locked in assessment mode no longer locks you out of the paper.
• The offline notice no longer covers the question you are reading.
• Your invigilator can now end assessment mode on your device remotely, if that is ever needed.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-01

- Assessment mode on iPad and iPhone: exams your institution configures to use it now run with the device locked by iOS for the duration — spell check, predictive text, dictionaries and screenshots are disabled by the system, and the lock ends automatically when you submit.
- Faster exam starts: papers are prepared in advance, so opening one at the bell is near-instant even when a whole class starts together.
- Better iPhone layout: dialogs and controls now respect the Dynamic Island and home indicator, with larger touch targets.
- Fixes, including an answered-question count error after resuming an exam.
