## What is Eden's Log?

Eden's Log is an offline-first record-keeping app for anyone incubating eggs, breeding birds or reptiles, or keeping real pedigrees — built for the keeper who's tired of juggling a notebook, a spreadsheet, and three different apps to track one clutch.

INCUBATOR TRACKER
Set a batch and get species-specific temperature and humidity targets — 381 bird species and 257 reptile species built in, plus your own custom entries — along with a full milestone schedule (candling days, lockdown, hatch window) and reminders for each one. Log every temperature and humidity reading as you go, and see immediately when a batch has drifted off target or gone too long without a check.

A REFERENCE THAT SHOWS ITS WORKING
Every built-in species carries its full classification — Domain, Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species — checked against the IOC World Bird List and the Reptile Database, with the source named. Reptiles whose sex is decided by incubation temperature are flagged as such, with the temperatures that produce males and females wherever those have been published. Where something has never been established, the app says so rather than guessing.

CALENDAR
A month view built around what's actually happening in your incubators: moon phase and lunar sign for every day, and every incubation running that month laid across the grid — color-coded red for birds, green for reptiles — so a whole clutch's timeline is visible at a glance instead of buried in a list. Tap any day for the exact milestone, hatch estimate, or reading due.

BREEDING & PEDIGREE
Track individual birds and reptiles with full sire/dam lineage, check a prospective pairing's inbreeding coefficient before you commit to it, and browse a fast pairing matrix across your whole collection at once. Log clutches and eggs — each with its own ID or tag — through to hatch, weigh eggs through incubation to track expected weight loss, and a feeding log tracks acceptance, refusals and weight gain over time so a real pattern shows up before it becomes a problem.

Cross two different species and the young are recorded as what they actually are, rather than silently inheriting the mother's line and corrupting every later inbreeding figure.

SALES AND BUYERS
Record who bought which animal, what they paid and what is still owed — in whatever currency the sale was made in. Deposits, outstanding balances, totals by year and by species, a buyer list, what you still have available, and a one-page receipt for any sale. Sales are kept on your device and never uploaded, because they hold your buyers' details.

REPORTS THAT WORK SOMETHING OUT
Beyond the record sheets: your logged readings measured against what each species actually wants, a pairing planner with a coefficient and a verdict for every possible pair, sex-ratio planning for reptiles whose sex temperature decides, and production season by season.

EXPORT ANYTIME
Pull your entire record — birds, reptiles, clutches, eggs, feeding history, weight trends, sales and every note you've written — into a real spreadsheet (.xlsx) whenever you want a copy outside the app.

FIELD GUIDE BUILT IN
A walkthrough of every screen, field and button, readable in the app and downloadable as a PDF, with no connection needed.

WORKS WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
The incubator tracker and calendar work completely offline with no sign-in required. An account is only needed if you want your breeding records to follow you across more than one device.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
No ads, no analytics, no trackers of any kind. Delete any single record any time, or your entire account and all its data, permanently, from right inside the app — no support ticket required.

FREE FOR 14 DAYS
Everything works for two weeks. After that only new batches need the one-time unlock. Reading, editing and exporting stay free. No subscription.

From a first clutch of chicken eggs to a multi-generation ball python pedigree, Eden's Log is built to be the one place all of it lives.
