## Version history (last 5 releases)

### V1.7.2 — 2026-09-20

- **Quoted replies** — in chats and on feed posts. A reply carries a frozen snapshot of the original
text; later edits or deletions no longer change the quote.
- **Doms can extend a running chastity challenge** — once the Sub grants that right. It is
deliberately a separate permission: an extension lands mid-run and raises the stake, which is not
the same as starting a new challenge. The Sub is told right away — by notification and in the
  mailbox.
- **A reminder shortly before the deadline** — 15 minutes before a proof window closes, a second
prompt goes out. Until now there was only the notice at the start of the window; missing it cost
  the whole challenge.
- **Upcoming chastity proofs are always visible** — they are no longer hidden until the window
opens, so you see what is coming instead of being surprised.
- **Location sharing in one place** — level and duration now sit together on the partner screen
instead of being split across two places. Turning it on preselects a duration, and the icon at the
top right is always there once you have a connection — even when nothing is being shared.
- **Large system text is supported** — turn the text size up, including the accessibility sizes, and
labels wrap instead of being cut off: tiles, tab bar, cards and forms grow with it.
- **27 new tips of the day** — covering location sharing, device lock and challenges, among others.

### V1.7.1 — 2026-09-16

**New**
- Doms can change the Sub's display name — once the Sub allows it, the name (like the profile text
already does) belongs to the Dom.
- Location can now also be shared "until turned off" — not just for 15 minutes, 1 or 8 hours.
- The zone log shows the Dom whether the Sub is currently measuring.

**Reliability**
- Task series and task expiry now run entirely on the server — even when the app is closed.
- A weekly series with no weekday selected can no longer be created (it would never have produced a
task); a bug affecting Sundays is fixed.

**Security & privacy**
- Attached images are now private and visible only to signed-in users.
- A challenge's values are protected against tampering on the server.

**More**
- Various internal improvements and bug fixes.

### V1.7.0 — 2026-09-11

Location and Zone-Sharing

### V1.6.1 — 2026-09-04

**Chastity**
- Proofs can now be submitted even while your Dom has locked the device.
- You can extend a running chastity challenge yourself. The added days count as their own stretch —
  not as one longer period.
- Pausing is reliably reachable again.

**Device lock**
- Doms can extend a running timed lock without interrupting it.
- When the remaining time is shared, it counts down to the second and updates instantly.

**Pandora's Box**
- Drawing now asks for confirmation — the draw cannot be undone.

**Connections & feeds**
- Pending invitations show a counter on the People tab.
- New members are added to the matching space automatically.

**Reliability**
- Task series and task expiry now run on the server, so they work even when the app is closed.
- Various bug fixes.

### V1.6.0 — 2026-08-31

Edicta 1.6.0

  - Pandora's Box — fill a box with tasks and draw one blind; the
    wheel reveals what you got.
  - Chastity proof timing — choose whether the proof request comes
    as a surprise.
  - Fairer photo dares — item variants now count as one group, so
    the draw is more varied.
  - Feed members — manage participants straight from the feed list.
  - Fixes: proofs submitted in time no longer fail, tasks reliably
go active, and the "done" button no longer goes missing.
