They are a neat little retro-looking speaker with good sound - particularly in the bass range. For the price, difficult to beat if that’s what you are looking for. Once the firmware is upgraded to at least 1.2.1 the AirPlay also works well. But that’s the problem- and why I can’t go 5 stars with this app. Getting the app to upgrade the firmware just seems to be a lottery. I have two speakers that won’t upgrade and the app does not have the functionality to force them to do it. You just have to connect via Bluetooth and wait - and wait. Eventually it might prompt you to upgrade. Might. Please improve the firmware upgrade process.
