Ask the school to correct your details — from the app.

Until now the app let you update only your email address and photo. Anything else — a misspelt name, a parent's name, an old phone number, the wrong address, a date of birth that doesn't match the birth certificate — meant a trip or a phone call to the school office.

Now you can send the correction from the app instead. Open Profile > My Info > Request a correction, change what's wrong, and send it. Each field shows what the school currently holds, so you can see exactly what you're changing.

It goes to the school for approval, not straight onto the record. Nothing changes until someone at the school approves it, and they can accept some of your corrections and decline others. You'll get a notification in the app and an email as soon as they decide, including their note and exactly which details were accepted. Your requests and their status stay on the same screen, and you can withdraw one while it's still waiting.

A note: your school decides which details can be requested, so the options you see are the ones your school has chosen to accept. If you don't see this yet, your school hasn't switched it on.

Help & Support is now a support ticket.

- Raise a ticket in the app and see its status change as the EDII team works on it.
- Reply on the same thread and read every reply in one place.

Class Diary
See what was taught in class and what was given for the day, without having to ask.

Lesson videos and chapter content
Self-Learn now includes lesson videos and full chapter content, so your child can go over any topic again at their own pace.

Ask about anything you're reading
Select any line in a lesson and ask the AI to explain it in plain language.

Update reminders
The app now lets you know when a newer version is available, so you are never left on an old build.

Self Learn is a lot better this time:

• Press and hold any paragraph and EDII explains it in simple words 
• Maths reads properly at last — ½, ×, ÷, x² instead of code 
• Ask EDII for a different version of a chapter — it now works every time 
• Chapters keep writing in the background, so nothing gets stuck

Also: faster chapter loading and a tidier bottom bar.

### 25.48.14 — 2026-08-17

This update is all about Self Learn.

Lessons now have pictures. EDII adds illustrations where a picture actually helps you understand — a real photograph, diagram or scene that matches what you are reading.

Stuck on a line? Press and hold any paragraph and EDII explains that part in simple words, at your class level, without losing your place in the chapter. You can carry the same question into Tutor if you want to go deeper.

Maths chapters finally read like a textbook. Fractions, signs and powers now show as ½, ×, ÷ and x² instead of raw code.

Asking for a different version of a chapter now works reliably. EDII writes the new version in the background while you keep reading the one you have, and the page updates on its own when it is ready.

Chapters are also written in the background now, so a slow connection no longer leaves you on a blank screen — you can leave the app and come back to a finished lesson.

Smaller fixes: 
• The bottom bar now highlights the right tab everywhere in the app 
• Tap a picture in a lesson to see it full screen 
• Clearer wording while a chapter is being prepared
