Edii For Teachers Teachers can now use Edii on their mobile phones. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 2.9.9 — 2026-08-23 New Help & Tickets page. - Raise a support ticket with the EDII team without leaving the app. - Follow its status and reply on the same thread. - Switch between Mine and School to see your own tickets or everything raised for your school. ### 2.9.8 — 2026-08-19 Course content Watch lesson videos and read the chapter content for your subjects, and regenerate the content whenever you want a fresh version for your class. Teacher Post in Homework Share a note or an update with your whole class from the Homework screen. More reliable attendance Attendance now saves exactly what is on the screen — students you switch back to present are saved as present, and the counts stay correct even while you are searching for a student by name. Changing the class, section or date after the list is loaded now asks you to fetch the students again, so one class's attendance can never be written onto another class or another day. Update reminders The app now lets you know when a newer version is available. ### 2.9.7 — 2026-08-18 Chapter Library Read the same AI lessons your students learn from, right inside the app. • Pick a class and a subject, then open any chapter and read it in full — the exact lesson the Self-Learn app serves your students. • Watch the chapter as an AI lesson video. If one hasn't been made yet, ask for it and it appears here once it's ready. • Rate a chapter Helpful or Needs work. Your rating decides which version of that chapter your class is served next, so a lesson that isn't good enough gets replaced. • When a chapter has more than one version, switch between them and compare. • The chapter list shows which chapters are ready to read and which are still being written. You'll find Chapter Library on the Home screen under Quick Access, by searching for it, or from the Self-Learn Progress screen. ### 2.9.6 — 2026-08-08 Class Diary Keep a record of what actually happened in each class, not just the homework. Open Class Diary from the Home screen and your day is already laid out — every period you teach, each marked Not Added, Draft or Posted, so you can see at a glance what still needs writing up. Move between dates to catch up on an earlier day. Three kinds of entry: • Class Update — the topic, what you covered, the classroom activity and any homework. • Class Moment — photos and videos from an activity, experiment or achievement. • Student Observation — a private note about particular children, visible only to them and their parents, never to the rest of the class. Less typing: • Class, section, subject and period times are filled in from your timetable. • Subjects are offered from your school's subject list for that class. • Tap the mic and dictate what was covered instead of typing it. • Attach photos, worksheets, PDFs and documents. • Tag the students who took part, presented or did well. Homework in one step Write the homework into a diary entry and it is created in the Homework section automatically, with the same attachments — no need to enter it twice. Parents get a single notification, not two. You decide who sees it Every entry carries a visibility setting: the whole class, selected students, parents only, or staff only. Student Observations are always private to the children you choose. Day entries Teaching a playschool class or an activity day with no fixed period?
