Gigantic ads take up over half of my 6s+ screen. I'll go back to Safari and use my ad blocker.

Compared to other news apps such as the Herald, the National or the Times it's very poor. 

No ability to personalise the news feed, no menus, you have to scroll through loads of stuff you're not interested in before you find what you're looking for. 

Subscription cancelled after one month.

Pity this media group can’t sort out their technical support department.
For MONTHS I have been unable to access the supplements/pullouts.
If this not corrected very soon, my subscription will be cancelled.

It doesn't update well and the ads are very annoying and it take ages to able to skip them and even then sometimes when you press the button it doesn't work and just end up exiting. Needs fixed.

App doesn't refresh. Not sure what, if any, testing was done on this.
And doesn't allow you search on local Edinburgh news, unlike the desktop application.
Will be deleting it from my iPad.

Dreadful, will not refresh no matter how hard you try resulting in you viewing the news you first ever looked at, day after day after day...

Currently every story I click on takes me to one unrelated news article. Doesn't update. Slow and clunky. Looks like no testing was done. Adverts are annoying. Have deleted it as I can't be bothered with it.

I am getting monthly emails verifying that my account has been debited by £7.99 to subscribe to The Evening News but cannot seem to access The Evening News App  as the login details are rejected and my request for an explanation( by email )  has not been answered.
I now wish to cancel my subscription but there is no easy way to do this either.
