You cannot add to or even view your wishlist in app. ### 2/5 — Could be better *2018-05-03, version 3.9.6* The in-app renewal process is easy to use and fast, but the search option seems to be broken, as whenever I try to search, it won’t let me click on the bar and type. ### 2/5 — So much potential! *2014-02-04, version 3.0* The one thing this app won't let me do is reserve books. The one thing i'd like to do on the move is reserve books. This must be an easy fix. Otherwise the app is easier to use than the main library website. (Had to type in the number instead.) The only way to rest it is to go to the multi-tasking and kill it completely. I was hoping to use this as a replacement for my library card (one less thing to carry around) but because of the problem above I can't even show the barcode to library staff unless I turn on my wifi, 3g or gprs and get a connection. This shouldn't be necessary. ### 1/5 — Very bad :( *2012-02-23, version 2.0* Very disappointed with this I really like the library's as I have a wee girl but can't log onto this with my card and all the book bug details and times are wrong?! Doesn't scan any books or my card like it says.. I get an invalid date error when I try to reserve a book. It’s such a shame! I don't appear to have the problems mentioned in the other reviews ### 4/5 — Renew & request books on the move *2012-04-21, version 2.5.1* Really useful app. Allows you to search the Edinburgh Libraries catalogue and request or renew books on the move. You can also check your account to see your current loans and due dates. As well as this there are useful news updates, maps showing your nearest library with info on opening times, etc. Much increased functionality than the older version of this app so please give it a try and don't be put off by older reviews as it is now easy to request and renew via this app. ### 3/5 — Keeps losing the linked account *2025-04-19, version 2025.1* The app is generally pretty useful. One feature I use a lot is linked accounts - so you can administer the books borrowed by other people in your family by linking their library cards to yours. But in recent months the app has started to lose these links. You add a linked account, it works, then next time you use the app it’s gone again. I must now have added back the same linked account hundreds of times. It just happens randomly - not every time, but the majority of the time. It’s infuriating. Please, if you ever touch this app again Edinburgh Libraries - and judging by the 13 year old reviews, you’ve forgotten it even exists - please fix this awful bug.
