## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crash

*2025-02-03*

Keeps crashing and won’t even open ☠️

### 1/5 — Glitchs

*2023-08-10*

When ever i tried of write an email it always shut and the email portion closed

### 1/5 — Absolute rubbish!

*2022-05-04*

The app goes through a cycle when you’re trying to log into your account, goes through the 2 factor authentication but still doesn’t let you in. Re entering your log in information so many times but it just refreshes back to the log in page. Extremely frustrating and makes the app unusable.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2022-03-22*

Terrible app, do not understand how the university expect you to use such an unreliable app, they want you to check in but you can’t even get logged in. So pointless

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2022-02-04*

I absolutely despise this app. It’s used for attendance to “check-in” but fights you to keep you locked out, even when using two-factor authentication.

The only fix is to uninstall and then reinstall. Not user friendly when it’s a needed action every week…

### 1/5 — beyond useless

*2020-12-19*

app straight up is just blank after you close it the first time i logged out and back in that fixed it once but now the only that fixes it is completely uninstalling the app so now i use the webpage which works 100000000x better

### 1/5 — Okay, but not actually an app

*2018-05-19*

It does what you want. But with a lot of tasks to do.
For example: accessing to moodle doesn’t work as expected. You have to put your login username and password every single time.
Moreover, if you want to check something you basically navigate through a web browser inside the app.

It seems an app, but it isn’t. It’s just a squared list of things that I can get accessing to the website.
And it doesn’t give anything cached, therefore I require internet connection anyway. What’s the point of having it, then?

Please, develop a real app. I can help, if needed.

### 3/5 — Reinstalling

*2020-11-10*

Every week I have to uninstall and then reinstall to be able to check-in

### 3/5 — Ok but important tiles keep on disappearing

*2020-10-11*

I find the app works but have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling as tiles keep in disappearing when I need them such as email, my timetable and checkin. I just had to reinstall yet again as half the tiles were missing.

### 4/5 — Does the job

*2022-04-11*

Has its flaws but overall does the job

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — New update looks great

*2025-05-18, version 11.26.5*

The new app update looks great. Tiles are much easier to read than before.

### 5/5 — Works well surprisingly

*2017-09-25*

Actually works.

Getting timetable easily is great.

Also quick last minute easy access to Moodle helps a lot more than I thought it would.

Could see it having a notification tab to see if lecture has announced anything as I tend to rely on the daily announcements via email for any course updates. Suggestion.

So yeah, it is the official Napier app and would say it is worth the download for Napier students.

### 5/5 — Good job napier

*2017-08-27*

Keeping up to the modern times, great. Good flowing app, basically saves me going on the internet browser the check this stuff. Also found out my print credit for the first time in 2 years.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2018-10-08*

Excellent app to access all you need to hand while at uni.

But please. Please. PLEASE. Get rid of the function where a menu pops up when the user shakes their device. For the love of god - please get rid of it, we ALL hate it.
