## What is Edinburgh Walking Tours?

Edinburgh is filled with remarkable stories that most visitors walk straight past. Turn your phone into a personal guide and explore the city at your own pace. Start and end your tours on your own schedule. Pause whenever you like. Take a break for lunch, follow a curiosity down a side street or spend longer at the places that capture your imagination. There is no group to keep up with, no fixed starting time and no guide holding an umbrella in the distance.

DISCOVER THE EDINBURGH BEHIND THE LANDMARKS

Alongside famous locations such as St Giles’ Cathedral, Greyfriars Kirkyard and the Scottish Parliament, you will uncover secret courtyards, overlooked memorials, unusual details and traces of Edinburgh’s dramatic past.

Hear stories of royalty, rebellion, grave robbers, public punishments, literary legends and the people who shaped the city. Look closely at streets you might otherwise hurry through and discover how much history is hiding in plain sight.

FIND THE HIDDEN GEMS

The main route is only part of the experience. Keep your eyes open for optional hidden gems scattered throughout the tour, from centuries-old carvings to peaceful gardens and unexpected viewpoints.

Find them all to unlock an exclusive bonus audio story at the end of your walk.
