And it got the predatory pricing too betting on people forgetting their subscription. It’s just farming credit card information for sure. If you want a good app to edit photos download either Snapseed or even CapCut. ### 1/5 — Escalated *2025-12-18, version 2.4.9* am writing again because this issue remains unresolved and no one has contacted me. I signed up to this app after it displayed a price of £6.99 per week. I only required access for one week. No annual price was clearly presented at the point of purchase. When I confirmed payment using Face ID, I was charged £69.99 for a yearly subscription that I did not intend to purchase. The app has not been used at all, which clearly demonstrates this was a genuine mistake. Despite this, refunds have been refused. Under UK consumer law, pricing must be clear and not misleading. The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 prohibit misleading price presentation, and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires digital content and subscriptions to match what was described and agreed at the point of purchase. Charging an annual fee when a weekly price was presented does not meet these standards. I am formally requesting direct contact from the developer so this matter can be discussed and resolved. I am also requesting clear information regarding refund policy and my consumer rights in relation to app subscriptions. I have contacted my bank, who are assisting me with this matter. If this continues to be ignored, I will require further escalation. This needs to be taken seriously and resolved promptly. ### 1/5 — Be extremely careful when subscribing. SCAM *2025-12-14, version 2.4.9* When signing up, the app displayed a price of £6.99 per week. I only needed access for one week. No annual price was clearly shown at the point of purchase. When I confirmed payment using Face ID, I was instead charged £69.99 for a yearly subscription. I immediately requested a refund. The app has not been used at all, which clearly shows this was an accidental purchase. Despite this, refunds have been declined multiple times. This pricing presentation is misleading and the refusal to refund an unused subscription is unacceptable. I have now raised this formally with Apple and my bank.
