### 4/5 — Ending a bit rubbish

*2019-03-28, version 1.2*

I enjoyed playing the game with its kooky characters and decent gameplay, although it lacked any actual puzzles - tell a lie, there was one.

I particularly liked how it took a rather sinister and gruesome turn towards the end, although the ending was an extremely abrupt missed opportunity.

It had the potential to be a real head fk but it was meh. That’s where the star was lost.

Worth a play.

### 5/5 — No bugs..... just stoopid players including me!😝

*2019-02-02, version 1.2*

Well I couldn’t stab the foot with the knife and after consulting a web page and also the reviews for this game was told it was an unpassable glitch. So after really enjoying this game I was gutted as I put it away and spent the next month thinking that was that. Today I try again no luck but in a last minute decision I tried out another walkthrough, this one was different and mentioned changing menu choices.... I couldn’t believe it when it worked. Things need to be done in the right order there are no glitches! I feel very foolish as I nearly dumped a great game while moaning about developers for nothing!

### 4/5 — Good game ruined by bug near end

*2018-07-15, version 1.2*

Started off as a great game, lovely graphics, tricky puzzles. A bit too tedious with the dialogue. But good. Then near the end there are a few bugs (stabbing Beeman’s foot with a fork, rearranging the menu), which is frustrating. But you can get over them if you keep persevering.

### 5/5 — MORE!!

*2018-02-13, version 1.2*

I was told there were more games but when I got more money I went to buy them and there weren't anymore
PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER EDNA AND HARVEY GAME I WOULD PLAY IT WITHOUT A DOUBT!M

### 5/5 — My short review

*2018-02-12, version 1.2*

Fun game. Took me a long time to beat it. Make sure to save after Edna escaped her bedroom near the ending when Edna is sending Harvey to check up on the father downstair. There are two endings to the game

### 4/5 — Good!

*2017-08-01, version 1.1*

A number of issues throughout but I managed to get them figured out with walkthroughs. Fun game.

### 5/5 — Add More Languages!:(

*2016-01-17, version 1.1*

Awesome, but... Please add Russian language! Please Please Please

### 5/5 — Amazing Game!!!

*2015-09-13, version 1.1*

Loved playing this game ! They should make another one! 👍🏻👍🏼👍🏻👍🏼👍🏻👍🏼😄😃😀

### 5/5 — Excellent game

*2015-08-10, version 1.1*

Really enjoyed this game. Hope Daedalic make more similar!

### 5/5 — Amazing!!!!

*2014-11-23, version 1.1*

I absolutely love this game! So many different fun puzzles and really great story line. The plot was fun and numerous. For some of the puzzles, I really needed a walkthrough to figure them out, but most of the time I could do it on my own. That didn't make the game worse at all for me. Great game!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2014-07-02, version 1.1*

Fantastic little game. Great story with fun graphics and brilliant characters. I played the lite version first to see if I liked it and was disappointed that buying the full version took me back to the start, but everything else was flawless. I played it fairly solidly for a couple of days to complete it. Recommended purchase

### 4/5 — Fun little adventure, though some parts seem walkthrough-only

*2014-06-23, version 1.1*

This is a classic adventure game in every respect, very long and well acted with a lot to explore and do, with great art to round it out. The biggest downside is that it's not very fair at all, lots of hair-pulling moments, but it's high quality, and while it does crash from time to time, the autosave always puts you right back where you left off, and I didn't run into any constant problems. It's chock-full of silly lines and sillier achievements, and basically 99% of every possible action is fully voice-acted by the main characters. There's hours of dialogue here! Unfortunately, after a while I started getting tired of Edna & Harvey's extremely dorky jokes, given how much there is to do and how long the game is.

Like I said, you're in for lots of hair-pulling for puzzles that hardly make any sense. There are lots of fun little digs at classic adventure games and tropes, but nearly every other puzzle is a stumper, making this a game that falls squarely into the same tropes.

I still look forward to the next games, because I had fun despite it all.

### 5/5 — Just brilliant

*2014-06-13, version 1.1*

Dark, twisted and funny. Totally addictive and immersive. I wish there was as sequel to play NOW! So great when you stumble across a game like this. Totally worth the money as the game was pretty hard at times and you get no hints. MORE PLEASE!

### 3/5 — Great game, but...

*2013-08-17, version 1.1*

I loved this game! Great characters, intriguing story, and challenging intellectual gameplay. However, after hours of investment in playing, and just when I had finally reached the denouement, the game crashes!! Repeatedly! Very frustrating, to say the least. Tried every crash fix I could think of short of reinstalling, as I didn't want to start all over again. This could just be my device, though. I was playing it on a 1st Gen iPad. Hopefully others have more luck.

### 1/5 — Huge bug- can not get past the first scene anymore.

*2022-03-05, version 1.2*

I have a feeling that the developers updated the game recently to allow easier access to inventory items. Unfortunately, you can not progress past the first chapter - the padded room. It only allows one slash per pad. As a result, you can not exit the room. This is literally the first action of the game beyond the initial prologue. I double checked with a walk through. The inventory appeared different - hence my thoughts that the game has been updated.
I am always hesitant to pay upfront for a game. I always appreciate a developer offering a couple of chapters for free so the player can see if the game suits their taste. I am more than willing to pay for a game that I like. I always jump on board to buy every game that is then released by that developer in the same genre. I will stay away from developers that peddle a flawed product. This was a waste of money. I fear that future products will be the same.

### 1/5 — Edna and Harvey: the breakout

*2019-12-04, version 1.2*

Have just brought this game, gets to the end of the download and then it goes blank, tried to download several times, not happy 🙁

### 1/5 — Can’t even download the game.

*2019-08-22, version 1.2*

We have no internet issues, other things have downloaded, but this game has not. Paid for it, but got nothing.

### 1/5 — Don't buy not iPad Pro 12.9inc support

*2017-02-09, version 1.1*

Don't buy not iPad Pro 12.9inc support

### 1/5 — Paid But Won't Install

*2014-07-15, version 1.1*

Installation hangs. Won't install. Never had this happen with any app, so unhappy I've paid for it and wasted my money... Shame, as I heard it was a good game!

### 1/5 — I normally enjoy these types of games BUT...

*2013-05-28, version 1.1*

This must be one of the stupidest, most illogical and unfunny game I have come across.

### 1/5 — Not installing.

*2012-11-03, version 1.1*

I have been trying to download the game for the past two hours but it always stopped midway.

### 1/5 — Tramilsha

*2012-08-20, version 1.0*

I HAVE PAID FOR IT--- all NIGHT IT HAS BEEN LOADING .NOTHING SO FAR. VERY ANNOYED. ONE STAR BECAUSE THIS MESSAGE WON'T BE DISPLAYED IF NOTHING GIVEN

### 2/5 — Can't finish the game

*2014-01-05, version 1.1*

Ipad 2 running iOS 6. When you get to the wrench to remove the spare tire, the UI gets in the way of the wrench, can't pick it up. Fun up until that point.

### 2/5 — So far no good

*2012-08-11, version 1.0*

It's not 20 hours of game play if it's hours of pointless dialogue.
Too slow. Lighthouse was a better game even though very short.
A disappointing way to have spent $6.

### 5/5 — Help

*2026-05-02, version 1.2*

There’s a book that elevator scene that requires the clothes hanger thing the menu for rooms would not show oh and of course can you add a hint system cause that really helps us with the hard puzzles is that smart it could be like this one that could show us where we must do yeah oh do not forget. Remember that by the way.

### 5/5 — NICE!

*2025-03-29, version 1.2*

good game and is worth the money

### 5/5 — If only this was on the iPhone

*2022-12-02, version 1.2*

If only this was on the iPhone

### 5/5 — My favorite game along with Harvey’s new eyes

*2022-08-19, version 1.2*

I keep coming back to play this game. I love how childish the art is but how it’s also so dark and creepy. Edna is someone who is flawed but also makes us root for her. The game play is hard to figure out sometimes so I needed a walkthrough when I got stuck. Otherwise, it’s so good and entertaining and the music is bomb

### 5/5 — Where is the remake?

*2021-10-28, version 1.2*

Love this game, it really need the remastered version on here too.

### 5/5 — Good game

*2021-03-12, version 1.2*

This is a great game, in the vein of monkey island or Sam and Max. The humour is quite dark and it has some disturbing themes. Probably not great for kids.

### 5/5 — Fun at the Nuthouse

*2021-02-08, version 1.2*

This game is very clever (probably worth more). To get through and figure out the difficulties, you’ll probably have to shift your consciousness to ‘looney tunes’ mode. But as you’re a human, that shouldn’t be a problem. The creators are clearly nuts.

### 5/5 — WOW!!!

*2020-11-19, version 1.2*

Amazing game!!! Totally worth it!!

### 5/5 — Only because we played it on pc

*2020-04-10, version 1.2*

This game and Harvey new eyes are two endlessly replay games. If you like funny humor, dirty humor, and dark humor mix and than you will DEFINITELY like these two games!

### 5/5 — What a Trip...

*2020-02-06, version 1.2*

What a trip...as we used to say in the '60s. Anyway, this game is one of the very best iPad Point & Click game ports I've played and that's saying a lot. It's one of the finest in almost every way, with one caveat (mentioned at the end of this review), including its story, brilliantly funny dialogue, charming graphics, superb voice acting, and many creative, tough, and wacky problems to solve. This is one of just a few out of hundreds of games where I would award nine out of ten (not five) stars if I could. I won't lavish praise beyond this because, if you believe me, you will want to try it for yourself if you love Point & Click Adventures - You won't regret it!

Okay, the caveat is that you will most likely need to use an online walkthrough at least several times during the game since excellent wackiness doesn't always invite intuitiveness into the picture ;-) The game's lack of a good hint system is why I did not fantasize about giving it ten (instead of nine) stars. Other reviewers have discussed this in detail, so, 'nuff said.
