The games represent the season spring so well with the bright and vibrant colors, Easter, and cute animals. My kids love to color and trace so initially that’s what they played the most. Other games they enjoyed playing were the spelling and learning the letters. I’ve noticed an improvement in their learning abilities the more in depth they went, and they absolutely love the recognition they receive when getting an answer correct. These 4 skills are each accentuated with their own separate game within the app and truly help preschool children as they prepare towards the transition to kindergarten and beyond. Tracing allows children to practice writing letters while recognizing the letter names and sounds. Colouring provides children with the opportunity to colour various images with various shades of crayons and also allows children to save their finished image on the device’s photos. Building forces children to match patterns as they build themselves an egg with various layers. Lastly, Matching challenges children to find two images that match, which also includes three levels of difficulty to make it easier or more challenging depending on the child’s level. Very funny and beautiful. My kids like to play with it a lot. They especially love the Coloring Book and together we have fun playing Matching. It was very helpful when I was writing letters with them. They always traced a letter in the app and then remembered a word which started with that letter. I think the price is very reasonable for what is included. The bright colors of the design are particularly pleasing. My nephew has been obsessed with this app (and especially with Abby the Monkey) since last week. Not surprisingly, his ability to recognize letter names and sounds has improved dramatically during this time period. My son found it a little difficult to match the pattern on the eggs but my daughter was just fine with it. Now, my son observed her and is actually improving at it :) He plays mostly with the coloring book and is having a blast with it. The app really keeps children playing and learning. Bright colours, great sounds and hours of fun. 5 stars :) ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Inconsistent use of lowercase and uppercase *2015-10-11, version 1.0* I've only used this app for a short time but in the tracing section the occasional word is written in all lowercase whilst the majority are all uppercase. This is is a poor way to teach pre-schoolers creating much confusion. Change to all lowercase or at lease give the option to to have either or. Also when tracing lowercase most letters should be drawn in one stroke. This app doesn't allow you to do that.
