## What is EduDots?

EduDots brings a lot of calculation tools for secondary school together in one app. Mathematics is the foundation, and the same tools work just as well in physics, chemistry, and economics lessons: from the scientific calculator to graphing and function investigation, from statistics to supply and demand. Built by a teacher, with one firm rule: a result is right, or it is not in the app.

• Simple and scientific calculators with real fractions and radicals
• Graphing calculator with function investigation, sliders, tables, and points
• Equations and systems of equations, solved exactly
• Statistics: from dot plots to box plots, with correlation, regression, and data import for every investigation

In the classroom
Choose a package the first time you start the app, so only the tools you use in class are on screen. Practice and assessment mode determines which tools are available during an assessment, and the log shows afterward which tools were used.

Accessible to every student
Accessibility is not an extra in EduDots; it is part of the design. Graphs and charts can be heard with VoiceOver, the entire app works in high contrast and in dark mode, touch targets are generous, dragging is never required, and a hardware keyboard controls everything.

Your data stays yours
EduDots collects nothing: no accounts, no servers, no ads, and no tracking. All work stays on the device. If you choose, saved work can sync to your other devices within your own Apple Account. That makes the app easy to trust in any classroom.

EduDots is fully available in Dutch and English; the decimal separator follows the language automatically. Requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26.

* EduDots is now fully available in French. The app simply follows your device language: Dutch, French or English.
* Counting problems on the scientific calculator: permutations and combinations.
* More accessible: status keys such as DEG and 2nd now announce their state to VoiceOver. Curves can also be distinguished without relying on colour, and touch targets have been enlarged.
* And much more: dozens of refinements and improvements to the calculation, graphing and computer algebra (CAS) engines.

ASSESSMENTS WITH REAL DEVICE LOCKING
• Start an assessment and the device now locks automatically, using Apple's Automatic Assessment Configuration. Other apps, notifications and the clipboard stay out of reach until the assessment ends, and only the tools the teacher allowed take part.
• The report for the teacher now also says whether the device was locked.
• Accessibility is never locked out: VoiceOver and spoken content keep working during a locked assessment.

FAMILIAR TOOLS, REFINED
• The sign of a number on the calculators now behaves the way you expect.
• Your saved investigations live on the new Recent tab in every tool.
• Supply and demand now draws multiple curves, and connects your own data points.
• Costs, revenue and profit shows the full textbook table, from total fixed cost to marginal revenue, with a minimal and an extended view, the break-even point and the profit maximum. In the graphs you choose which lines you see.

ACCESSIBILITY
• VoiceOver reads formulas the way they look on the board: x² sounds like x squared.
• The economics graphs are fully audible too.

• The (-) key changes the sign of the number before it: type 7 and then (-) and you get −7, tap (-) again and it is 7 once more. Subtraction stays on the ordinary minus key.
