I recieved my telescope, but it is impossible to get a connection between the telescope and the app. I connected to the Edu wifi as requested, but when I click „connect Device“ nothing is happening. I am really unsatisfied.

The device looks nice but the motor intended to move the telescope failed to move. There is no way to get in touch with the company to get help.

App should be panel to into more manual location inputs . Speed motor controls to 4th speed would be great . Manual object lock . Great telescope app needs an advanced version. Needs a developer video as to set up auto focus. Maybe consider a completely open app and Ai for the user to  control the Astro 53 to its full potential, you could learn from the data. Even if it’s a pay wall.

Kickstarter backer here without connection problems. This feels like an early release, because it is. The incremental improvements show both, potential of the app and dedication of its developers. I just hope they don‘t run out of steam. So far they kept their promises. In 6-12 months the app could become solid 3-4 and potential 4 star.
