Not intuitive has been very challenging to make payments eventually I cancelled autopay option because it was extremely confusing. I find the accounts section very frustrating. The itinerary and information for upcoming trip is helpful

### 5/5 — Greece with Loukia

*2026-07-08, version 2026.7.2*

Had a fabulous time in Greece. Our tour guide, Loukia was truly one of the best guides I’ve ever had. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, kind and so very friendly. ♥️

### 5/5 — Grand Tour of Portugal and Spain

*2026-07-04, version 2026.6.26*

My husband and I, our granddaughter and her mom just got back from our trip. The places we visited were increíble! We enjoyed the hilly narrow cobble stone streets of Coimbra and Évora with their cute shops and bougainvillea topped arches and the clean beautiful cities of Madrid and Barcelona, the museums, and the historic Alhambra! Our tour guide Joseph introduced us to many new foods and experiences and took care of every tiny detail to make the entire trip seamless! Joseph was very knowledgeable and shared all kinds of interesting information about the culture and places we were visiting. It was just a magnificent trip and I highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — Spain, France, Italy

Anna Caruso is the most incredible tour director! She goes way above and beyond to make the tour absolutely fabulous! She has so much passion for her job and for all of the places we visited. She is extremely knowledgeable about every city and place we visited. I just love how she interacts with the group and makes it her personal mission to know and care for each one of us. She brings so much joy and energy every single day. She made our bus rides so fun with playing some games, giving us trivia and little quizzes, and even playing special ethnic songs for each region we toured. She is extremely diligent in providing us with all of the information we need each day. She gives us updates and messages on WhatsApp regularly. She responds to questions/concerns/comments on WhatsApp immediately. I really can’t say enough wonderful things about her. It is extremely evident. She absolutely loves her job and puts 100% of herself into it every single day. I felt like I made a new good friend as I was getting to know her. I plan to request Anna for a future tour director when I go on my next tour with EF tours. I was very pleased with the hotels and local tour guides as well. My whole experience on this tour was absolutely fantastic. I would rate it 10 out of 10! Thank you Anna and EF Tours from the bottom of my heart!❤️

### 5/5 — An unforgettable journey

*2026-06-29*

I had an amazing trip to Namibia—it exceeded all of my expectations, thanks to my outstanding guide, Abraham M.

He is an exceptional leader who worked tirelessly and always looked after everyone’s well-being. He made sure everyone in the tour got equal attention and their happiness was his first priority. He wanted to make sure the tour was a success.
Because of his guidance, I did not only witness Namibia’s breathtaking landscapes and had the incredible opportunity to observe its amazing wildlife up close, but we also gained a much deeper understanding of the country’s history, culture, traditions, and everyday life. He helped us experience the true beauty and spirit of Namibia in a way we never could have on our own.

One of the touching moments was when he arranged for us to hear the Outjo Secondary School youth choir sing a cappella. The children’s beautiful voices are something we will always remember.
Another moment we will never forget was the wonderful birthday surprise he organized for my wife. Hearing the local singers perform a traditional Namibian birthday song was incredibly thoughtful and heartfelt. She was deeply moved by his kindness, and it made her birthday truly unforgettable.
We wish him continued success. May he continue inspiring travelers from around the world.

### 5/5 — Solo Scotland

*2026-06-11, version 2026.5.29*

This was such a wonderful trip to begin with, but we lucked out having Robert as our tour director and Andy as our bus driver. Robert went above and beyond his duties and was with us every step of the way. Andy kept us safe and I really think his driving skills were top notch. But, their humor and patience with those who may have been a little late getting to the bus here and there is what I felt was especially endearing…icing on the cake.
I would also mention I thought the hotels we stayed in were outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised.

### 5/5 — Great Vacation in Eastern Europe

*2026-06-10, version 2026.5.29*

Constantine has been a great tour guide through out. Very informative and very helpful. He informs us each step of the way on our daily activities and schedule to follow. He was helpful helping me out of the tour bus each time which was very nice. He took care of all the tickets for each of our excursions (which allowed us to get through quicker). Our bus drivers that we have had have all been great and getting us from point A to point B safely.

### 5/5 — Greece: Athens, Mykonos & Santorini.

*2026-06-08, version 2026.5.29*

Had a good vacation thanks to our Tour Director Michael. He had us as close to the front as possible when we were traveling from island to island and was very informative regarding where we were going and what we would be doing there. His little treats of foods he remembered from his youth were thoughtful additions and showed he cared.

### 3/5 — Payments

*2026-06-03, version 2026.5.29*

Hard to find and make payments. I wanted to do on computer and it would not allow me to do it

### 4/5 — Food and wine tour of Tuscany and Umbria

*2026-05-27*

On a positive note, we had a great time and the size of the group (18) was perfect.
The tour Director was outstanding. She always went above and beyond the call of duty. She was always there for us.
The individual tour guides were also exceptional. There’s always the risk that the tour guide is difficult to understand. In this case, all the tour guides spoke excellent English.
From a planning perspective, there were some gaps. For example, our introduction to Florence was a walking food tour in the morning, which did not include the iconic Piazza Della Signoria with the David replica and Loggia. Then a pasta making session in the evening. Saturday was wide-open. As a result, the organized touring part of the trip only occupied about a third of the time. A first time traveller to Florence might be disappointed not getting a more significant picture of Florence’s history and stature during the Renaissance.
On an administrative basis, I found EF difficult to deal with. They were slow to get back to me when I phoned. I was particularly unhappy with the reservations. I had wanted to go a day earlier and to go business class. It took EF about four days to get back to me with a quote and it was for an incorrect date, May 13, not May 12. Moreover, the price I was quoted for the upgrade was more than the cost that my agent was able to get for the entire ticket, not just the upgrade.
For an organization that indicates that it has relationships with numerous airlines, I found this hard to understand.
On balance, we found the tour itself great. We just found some of the administration leading up to the tour somewhat difficult to navigate.

### 3/5 — Gotta fix these few issues

*2026-05-24, version 2026.5.19*

1) the tap targets on the buttons are too small. Like in chat trying to tap the cancel X button usually takes two tries.
2) zooming and moving on photos you’ve expanded posted in chat is messed up. Try to zoom in and move image to the left and it goes to the right.
3) the currency calculator needs to remember your settings persistently, and the cursor in the text field should default to letting you change the entire number when typing in a new one. Right now you have to move it to the right of the “0” it defaults to first.

### 5/5 — Sicily

*2026-05-24, version 2026.5.19*

Phenomenal 7 days in Sicily. Tour guide Ben did an exceptional job in keeping the tour organized and informed. Franco is highly skilled and patient in driving through the mountainside narrow roads , exhibiting caution. The local guides were of high quality.

### 5/5 — Tour Director

*2026-05-23, version 2026.5.1*

A simple five star review does not give justice to how great our tour guide Shinya was- he really did go above and beyond to meet everyone’s requests on the trip and answer all questions.

### 1/5 — Insurer Won’t Act On Claim - Go Ahead Says There’s Nothing It Can Or Will Do

*2026-05-27, version 2026.5.19*

I had long-term plans for a trip to Greece, which was insured through the go-ahead booking process. It would have been my 4th trip with GoAhead. About 10 days before departure I fell and fractured my shoulder and was unable to go. I immediately notified go ahead and filed a claim. It has now been over two months and my very straightforward claim has not been paid. The insurer keeps asking for information that it already has. I contacted Go Ahead for assistance and it said there is nothing it can do because it is just simply a third-party. So Go Ahead has my $3100 for a trip I couldn’t take, the insurance company has its payment, and both companies are leaving me out to dry. BE CAREFUL!

### 1/5 — Contact after viewing available vacations

*2026-03-06, version 2026.2.20*

I just hate getting a follow up phone call after viewing available vacation packages. I like exploring but I think it’s inappropriate to be getting a call from EF the next day. I’m interested in reviewing the tours with my spouse before picking one. Not with the travel coordinator until I’m ready. To me this is a high pressure sells tactic and turns me off to booking a trip. Please send a text or email, NOT a phone call please.

### 1/5 — Christmas market tour 2025

*2025-12-19, version 2025.12.5*

Save your money or find a different tour company! Everything about this tour was disappointing and this was my 3rd one with EF! Everything from transportation of how long you’re on the bus and in extreme traffic why they don’t do the trains idk! Hotels were not in city center except for one(you will spend money on Ubers if you can’t walk for 40 min + to get back to Christmas markets…we had no time when they took us on tour always rushed to get back on bus!) We had to change our room in 3 different hotels due to plumping and other things! No help from tour director or the hotels! And don’t get me started about the tour director we had! My mom always said “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything” So I’ll leave it at that!!! I have a deposit for a 4th tour with EF but seriously rethinking it!

### 1/5 — France for Solo travelers

*2025-10-06*

France for Solo Travelers
Just returned from the France for Solo travelers (Paris, Provence & French Riviera) If you are interested in this trip, be aware you don’t really get to see Paris. The tour only provides a short 2 hour bus tour of Paris. If you want to see more of Paris, go in a few days early and explore on your own or book a different tour. The Paris hotel (Courtyard Paris Porte de Versailles) is a lovely hotel but is NOT in the city centre and there is nothing of interest to see around it. You will need to take an Uber/taxi if you want to tour any attractions. The hotel in Lyon (Tribe Lyon Croix Rousse) was a terrible hotel in a terrible location outside the mainn center. Very limited restaurants in walking distance and for touring need to take an Uber to get there.
Over the course of the trip, three dinners were included. However, no food choices were offered at two of these meals. You ate what was served. The majority of the group (26) felt the food subpar and wanted to be able to choose from 3 options or at least 2 options. The dinner and wine tasting at Chateauneuf du Pape was excellent.

The hotel in Avignon (Le Cloître Saint Louis) was a lovely historic building in a great location that was steps from a huge selection of restaurants, shops and historical sites to see. The hotel in Nice (Mecure Nice Centre Grimaldi) was a modern chain hotel that was a few minutes walk to great restaurants, shopping and historical sites. Our tour guide (Christophe) was awesome! He was well organized, easy going, know and had interesting stories. The additional $ excursions are well worth the money. Sorry, but for the price I don’t recommend this tour. I feel EF should make some significant improvements for this to be a worthwhile tour.

**Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback on the France for Solo Travelers tour. We're glad you enjoyed your time with Christophe—his organization and storytelling truly make a difference. Your comments on hotel locations, meals, and time in Paris are appreciated and will be reviewed with our team to improve future experiences. Thanks again for traveling with us and helping us grow.

### 5/5 — London, Paris, Rome

*2026-08-26, version 2026.8.21*

This was the best tour by far. The excursions were phenomenal and our director Cian was not only professional but humble, courteous, humorous and attentive towards the group. We all enjoyed his knowledge of the countries and the cities. The dinners were indeed tasteful and fun. I have never shared a tour such as this and I will most definitely recommend both the tour and the director Cian. Thank You for an outstanding memorable journey in travel. It was fun❣️ Lucy Cardarelli🙏

Had a fabulous time. Diana R (our tour guide) added so much to my trip. Feel like I made a friend and a fun, organized and thoughtful one at that. Weather cooperated for the most part. Would love to further explore the Highlands. All in all it checked all the boxes. Jan B

### 5/5 — Riding on Eddy’s Bus

*2026-08-09, version 2026.7.24*

I just got home in Seattle from an amazing ten day tour of Ireland aboard Eddy’s bus. Two of us on that bus were west coast Teamsters and a third fellow was LAPD. We all agreed that Eddy was a highly skilled driver. I was only half kidding when I told him that I would buy a ticket to watch him drive. Eddie did more than drive, at every turn he was willing and able to go over and beyond his duties. He went the extra mile to handle all the problems that inevitably arose, without complaint, and he was a source of information about everything Irish, history, geography, music, culture and how to drink a Guinness. We miss his company already.

### 5/5 — Wonderful trip

*2026-07-31*

The group was wonderful the Lincolnton group and the add ons became great friends right off the bat!!! The guides were all great but Henry was my favorite, he made the stories and facts so real and the facts so inhanced because he lived them. Yvonne was wonderful, kind, and funny. She was also so helpful to me. I thought I had prepared myself for the walking but by the 7 day I found out no I hadn’t ! Yvonne stepped in and got Pat & I handicap rooms. She made it possible for bus to have a great trip even with my walking issue. This was really a trip of a lifetime ! The group was wonderful, all those who guided us were the best and the new friends made and old friends together made the trip the best. A special thanks to Cale for all his work putting the trip together and all the help given during the trip. “Thank you, Good Buddy” as your DD would say.

### 5/5 — Italy Tour

Paola

### 5/5 — Scandinavian tour from Sweden, Norway and Denmark, July 7 to July 16 our tour guide name Shaun

*2026-07-16, version 2026.7.10*

Shaun was an exceptional and knowledgeable tour director. He shared valuable insights about the countries we visited, along with his own experiences and favorite places, which made the tour even more engaging and meaningful.
He was always attentive to our needs, consistently checking to make sure everyone was safe, comfortable, and accounted for at every meeting point. His professionalism, organization, and genuine care for our group made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.
I would be delighted to have Shaun as my tour director again on another EF Tours trip. He truly made this journey memorable, and I highly recommend him.

Our trip started smoothly until we continued from Zürich to Bergen, Norway. Before leaving the U.S., my husband and I contacted EF Tours to confirm that all of my flights—from departure through my final destination—were confirmed and that a name change made two months earlier had been updated throughout my itinerary to match my passport. An EF Tours representative assured us that the change had been completed and that everything was in order.
Unfortunately, when we arrived for our international flight from Zürich, we discovered that my name had not been updated on the international flight segments. As a result, I could not be issued a boarding pass. The airline agent initially instructed me to contact United Airlines to resolve the issue, but with our flight boarding in less than two hours, there was not enough time to fix it ourselves.
Thankfully, our tour director, Shaun, stepped in immediately. He paid the required fee so the airline could issue my boarding pass, allowing me to travel with the group. It was an incredibly stressful experience, but because we arrived at the airport early, the problem was identified in time.
Shaun reassured me that he would contact EF Tours the following day to ensure my name was correctly updated on all of my remaining international flights. His calm demeanor, quick action, and commitment to resolving the issue helped ease my anxiety during a very stressful situation.
I was extremely disappointed that EF Tours had assured my husband and me that all of my flights had been updated when, in fact, the international flight segments had not been corrected. This oversight caused unnecessary stress and could have seriously disrupted our trip.
I want to sincerely thank Shaun for his professionalism, dedication, and exceptional customer service. He stayed on top of the situation from start to finish and made sure I could continue my tour without further issues. His support made all the difference, and I am very grateful for everything he did.
