I subscribed to Study Trainer in Effective Learner and use it to direct my working schedule.  Work hard when it told me to work, and rest when it told me to relax.   I also look at the report and realized I am most effective when I am studying alone early in the morning with classical music playing.  I changed my work habits accordingly and are able to finish my work in half the time it used to take me.  Highly recommend you subscribe to Study Trainer.
