Par la suite j’ai annulé mon abonnement mais depuis on me charge des montants directement sur ma carte de crédit alors que je n’ai pas d’abonnement . La première fois qu’on m’a Chargé on m’a dit qu’on ne pouvait pas me Rembourser , la deuxième fois on me dit la meme chose mais curieusement lorsque je dis que je vais faire une plainte pour fraude on me rembrouse .. quel hasard ! J’ai signalé le tout . Ne vous faite pas prendre vous aussi par cette application malhonnête. **Developer response:** Nous comprenons à quel point cette situation est frustrante. I have emails to show this. Just this morning (6 months later) Effecto is still trying to take almost £180 out for walking yoga. Luckily my bank has been notified and this never went through but please be very cautious when giving this company any details. ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-06-28, version 2.4.1* Completely useless. This advertisement comes across with all of the buzz words. I made the mistake of purchasing without reading the reviews. If you are reading the reviews before purchase, good for you. Now, believe them. These ppl need to be ashamed of themselves for scamming ppl. There is a product, but it is completely useless for a person with ADHD and probably anyone. It is just something thrown together to avoid being accused of not having anything. I wasted my money on this. Be very cautious giving these people your card information! ### 1/5 — Misleading Subscription Practices *2026-06-21, version 2.4.1* There is no unsubscribe button in the app. It feels like a deliberate subscription trap designed to make cancellation difficult for users. ### 1/5 — Unhelpful and scam *2026-06-12, version 2.4.1* I used effecto but didn’t find it any use or benefit. After cancelling my subscription and deleting the app. Many months later I see a charge on my credit card for another subscription. No advance notification or email about it. Then try to get a refund, and told ‘digital purchases’ are final and won’t be refunded. ### 1/5 — Avoid *2026-06-11, version 2.4.1* Don’t order anything from these people. They offer upgrades free for a while then charge you despite it being cancelled. No refund policy, no reminders. Be extremely careful what you click on because they won’t refund you anything or even discuss it. Its impossible to cancel..Its literally not even listed on my apple account for a subscription, yet I was just magically charged 40 dollars and I have not even used the app whatsoever… **Developer response:** We understand how concerning unexpected charges can be. After downloading the app I immediately realized it wasn’t going to be helpful for me at all and cancelled my subscription. Das sollte eigentlich nicht passieren. Da ich mein Konto nicht mehr besitze kann ich mich auch nicht mehr einloggen um zu schauen was da das Problem ist. I also can’t cancel via Apple subscriptions tab . Don’t download this app . ### 1/5 — From one ADHDer to another: Predatory business model toward ppl they are trying to “help” *2026-07-15* The app is ok… if you have the bandwidth to remember to use it. It claims to help people with ADHD manage their moods, habits, etc. However, it was not something useful enough to use often so I forgot about it—until auto renewal time. I feel so duped. No reminders about auto renewal—just close to a hundred bucks taken from my account. (The same company offers something called Walking Yoga. Total scam and that one is ANNUAL AUTO RENEWAL.) I immediately reached out for a refund and they said, no refund because “the renewal was processed correctly”. They did cancel future subscription though. Thanks a lot. Do NOT get this app unless you know you won’t get tricked into auto-subscribe. Definitely NOT WORTH THE PRICE for me no matter what since the app wasn’t effective, Effecto. **Developer response:** We understand how frustrating this feels. I canceled during the trial and they are continuing to charge my account. I have no hope to get my money back but have asked for them to stop. The company is in Lithuania. Beware of this app. It’s a scam. The website doesn’t sent email to print that trial period is over. Anyways subscription is way too expensive and overpriced for the content available. After going through the content, I can see same information is easily available for free online. So I would not recommend this to anyone. Waste of hard earned money! I want it discontinue this subscription but cannot do it easily through my account as cannot see the option to unsubscribe and discontinue. ### 1/5 — Disappointing App *2026-07-12, version 2.4.1* This app is not easy to unsubscribe to. I haven’t used this app for a very long time, I had deleted it because I found it ineffective and I believed I had managed to unsubscribe from it after a lot of effort. It turns out I hadn’t, and because I couldn’t see it on my App Store subscriptions I didn’t realise (apparently it was done through stripe pay??) but as well as this, they give you no sign you’re still subscribed, or that a payment is upcoming. I don’t believe this is an ADHD friendly app, it should be straightforward to manage. I only realised I was subscribed still when money was taken from my account and I opened my emails and saw one from effecto that hadn’t even made it clear that had happened, it was just an email telling me how to get the most from the app which I thought strange because I never received any others from them. They do not give you your money back and claim this is because it is a “digital subscription” they are unable to issue refunds which I think is ridiculous, as I have experienced other apps remedy these things straight away. I believe these people are taking advantage of the difficulties they claim to support. ### 1/5 — Beware of the subscription that is hidden and no way to easily cancel *2026-07-06, version 2.4.1* Read the previous reviews, I wish I did. Nowhere it said this was a subscription- double the amount from the initial 1 month. It does not show up in your active apple subscriptions too for whatever reason- the only way to see it - your bank statements and the inly way to cancel - emails to their customer support. $39/month is ridiculous for what it is. ### 1/5 — SCAM *2026-07-06, version 2.4.1* Read previous review mine is the same.
