### 1/5 — Awful user experience.

*2021-08-14, version 1.9.1*

As an overseas iFollow season ticket holder, everytime I open it forces me to try and reinstall, I can no longer listen to games on audio in the background, any other notifications I get on my phone cut the audio, and it decides 10 minutes after full time to stop most weeks. And yet 12 months on, nothing has been done to fix it.

### 2/5 — An update to slow down user experience

*2021-04-30, version 1.3.2*

Apps do this, remove features and create a pay wall to get to these same features.

### 1/5 — Buggy app, needs big fixes

*2021-03-06, version 1.3.2*

I didn’t love having to move over to this app rather than my club specific one, but as long as it works, who cares, right? Well, it doesn’t work well at all. The app is very buggy, often making the rest of my iPad freeze up - for example, if I want to adjust the volume, for some reason toggling it up and down doesn’t work when I’m in the app. That kind of lag is common, as are long loading times when the app starts up and when videos are starting, or when you’re toggling between settings like different audio channels (it takes forever to register your taps). I like following my team and am glad I have a way to do so, but this app is not well designed.

### 1/5 — Create account

*2021-02-15, version 1.3.2*

How do you create an account as a new user?

### 1/5 — Not tv compatible

*2020-12-03, version 1.2.0*

I will not subscribe again until I can cast to my tv, I don’t want to be sat in front of my laptop on a Saturday morning. Utter ridiculous.

### 1/5 — I follow multipleteams

*2020-11-22, version 1.2.0*

This app only allows one club . These apps were a main source of news. Difficult to follow Leyton Orient from overseas as is, this makes it ridiculous

### 1/5 — What happened?

*2020-11-07, version 1.2.0*

Can we please have the old app back? This new version is rubbish.

### 1/5 — Air drop or screen mirroe

*2020-10-28, version 1.1.2*

Tired of watching on my phone when I could see alot better on my tv. Rip off

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2020-10-20, version 1.1.2*

EFL .... Just a rip off ... the supporters being hosed by them yet again !!!

Can not mirror the screen to the TV ....

### 1/5 — Hopeless

*2020-09-29, version 1.0.1*

As a US resident I have followed Luton T on I follow since it’s inception, casting onto my TV . On Saturday v Watford, I managed to cast, without commentary, for approx 2 Minutes , it was not possible to cast after that. Whatever has taken place since the Derby game, appears to be a disaster. Perhaps this problem will only relate to the Watford game? Any advice would be appreciated.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2020-09-29, version 1.0.1*

I had Zero problems using the iFollow feature in the Nottingham Forest app. They replaced it with this crap that doesn’t work and crashes constantly. My recommendation for anyone is to access the iFollow website on the Browser. It works with no problems.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can’t mirror to television

*2024-01-19*

They are happy to take our money (NO REFUNDS!), but the app actively blocks being able to stream to your television in your own home, and nowhere in the terms of service do they mention this limitation. $120 for a half season of watching games on a tiny screen, what a value.

Ridiculous money grab.

### 1/5 — No Airplay

*2024-01-02*

It does not allow airplay video. What’s the use of only watching on your phone? That’s fine for when you’re out but at home? Dumb. People abusing it for broadcasting in a bar will figure out a way and they should be shutdown in a different fashion.

I was considering subscribing ie paying them money but no way am I paying to watch a sporting event on a tiny iPhone screen. Also, very annoying that I needed to go to website to create account. I get it, they don’t want to pay Apple but for a free basic account? It’s just cheap. Apple is bringing them customers but they don’t want to pay out.

Also 4.2 out of 5? No way. They are paying someone for 5 star reviews.

### 1/5 — Don’t expect AirPlay or any other casting

*2023-11-05*

Can’t believe in 2023 that the iFollow app doesn’t allow local streaming from device to AppleTV, or any other local casting tech. And it’s not that they don’t *support* it; they appear to *actively block* it. Pathetic.

And consistent with that fail, it’s not surprising that they don’t respond to any of the feedback in the reviews. Once again, pathetic.

### 1/5 — Please allow screen mirroring or give us an Apple TV app

*2023-09-30*

Seriously, why is there still not a Apple TV app? Or at least the ability to screen monitor? As an out of country subscriber, it would be nice to watch on something than other on a mobile screen. it’s not like others haven’t been asking for 2+ years……

### 1/5 — Can’t log in

*2022-10-15, version 1.17.1*

So apparently it says I have an account. So I tried to log in but won’t let me so I do the forgot password and it tells me it’s sent an email to my account. Nope there’s no email at all and I’ve tried it 5 times

### 1/5 — Why? Why? Why? Why?… yes that’s 4

*2022-09-03, version 1.17.1*

Why are there only audio and then delayed match options? Why are there no table, news, or match info loading? Why did you even bother “updating the app” 1 week ago? Why can’t we stream live matches?!?

You knew there would be an influx of people interested in the league… especially with “welcome to wrexham” bring more notoriety to those casual or new futbol fans in the States.

As I always jokingly and lovingly tell my wife… but truly mean it to you developers… DO BETTER!!!

### 1/5 — awful

*2022-08-20, version 1.16.0*

it’s sad that this already crappy app became non functional this season

Get you act together and fix the networking problems for US users

And then remember the login information - this is not a banking app, you don’t need to block remembering the user

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2022-08-06, version 1.16.0*

This app has consistently gotten worse year after year. Now, it doesn’t even load anything. Not one thing. The app is literally not usable.

### 1/5 — No way to set up an account.

*2021-12-26, version 1.12.0*

Downloaded the app and it only gives me the option to log in. I don't have an account yet, and it does not provide me the ability to set up an account. Deleted!

### 1/5 — Bad app, awful service

*2021-10-16, version 1.10.2*

With iFollow, I’m reminded of a football chant - “You don’t know what you’re doing… you don’t know what you’re doing!” If you pay for a service, you should be able to airplay games to your tv. Which was possible before, but not anymore. But what’s worse is the customer service. After my membership renewal did not automatically process at the original price ($178) due to an out-of-date credit card, the price went up ($225). Trying to discuss the details of this issue with the customer service team lead me to one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had - every email in the thread would go to a different person, none of whom understood the issue or cared to resolve it, and responses were constantly different and filled with excuses and/or confusion. Which has resulted in me boycotting iFollow. After years of watching my team as a fan living across seas, I will now only watch the games available on ESPN+. It’s unfortunate iFollow’s unorganized and unprofessional team chose to lose a returning customer, rather than resolve an issue, and all for an app that got worse and doesn’t work for fans as it could/should.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Go WREXHAM FC!!!

*2023-11-25*

After watching the 1st season of Welcome to WREXHAM, I instantly became a fan of watching this team. I followed them a bit during their 2nd season, so was kind of aware of what was going to take place when their aired the 2nd season (spoiler alert…they get promoted!!) Well now they are into their 3rd season of ownership, and this app allows you to follow them every week. This app has created a new Saturday tradition for me and my family.

### 5/5 — PNE in Real Time!

*2023-11-19*

EFL is awesome! I never miss a game - ever! The production is professional and the replay is there when needed; not to mention - back it up and see for yourself! I haven’t found a better source for the EFL and recommend it to anyone who loves their team!

### 5/5 — I love iFollow

*2022-10-29, version 2.2.0*

IFollow allows me to enjoy supporting my hometown Tractor Boys from all the way in Texas. Before last season I had never seen an Ipswich Town match. Now I never miss one. The broadcasts are very good.

### 5/5 — Works great

*2021-01-16, version 1.3.2*

Not sure where the other reviews are coming from. This works pretty good for me. App is well designed and easy to use and navigate. Very intuitive.

### 5/5 — Why No Casting to a TV ?

*2020-09-26, version 1.0.1*

The last two seasons we were able to cast to a TV from the iFollow app. Why has this ability now been cut off, particularly when fans cannot attend the games in person? It’s crazy that you have to watch it on a phone or tablet only, and poor value for money as a result.

### 5/5 — Complete downgrade

*2020-09-22, version 1.0.1*

I agree with the other single star reviews. I only use this to watch Newport County games in the US now. It no longer plays the Carabao Cup live on video like the Club app used to. It doesn’t do anything that the website or social media tells me needs to be done on the app. The app for their team that I used to use was far better with getting information about the team. I’ve found myself either looking on the Facebook page or looking on google for it.

### 3/5 — Please

*2023-01-02, version 2.2.2*

Make an Apple TV app!

### 2/5 — Okay, but could be better

*2023-09-02*

The app works, and it’s stable. The interface is clean. However, the refresh rate is terrible. I’m watching on a current generation iPad Pro on gigabit internet, but high speed action is invariably blurred. A corner kick presents as a gooey mess in front of the goal, as you wait for the announcer to say what happened. The ball essentially disappears during fast kicks. You can still enjoy a game, but for the cost, it should be MUCH better.

### 2/5 — Decent app but only 2 stars.

*2023-08-26*

Picked it up to watch Wrexham here in the US. If I had realized that I couldn’t cast to my TV I wouldn’t have paid for the subscription. Definitely not doing it again next year unless something changes.

### 2/5 — No Apple TV app or AirPlay support

*2023-08-05*

It looks like people have been noting the lack of these features for two years….clearly the EFL is not paying any attention, because this is still an issue. PLEASE FIX THIS!
