Moved to 2->3 stars. I highlight 3 items that could be improved. 1. The refresh could be more real time updates. Seems still couple minutes delayed data. When you are making changes or a quick charge you want to see the system reflect this. 2. you got rid of the AI support. Appreciated the responses and bouncing ideas. 3. The grid connection now shows generator connection. (I don’t have a generator) so should be Grid as in the past version **Original review before July 21 below. ** Overall I appreciate the app and looks Nice. The easy switch between simple and detailed allow me to see my batteries down the line and if they are balanced. As another person indicated, this prevents changing things in the Home Screen on accident, the style is nice and closer to HA. I am not looking for more functionality just a different way to view the information. The graphs could use some work, but a great step forward. I still use both apps, and appreciate I can compare if the readings are accurate(delayed). I am using this app more and more. Thank you and keep building on it! ### 1/5 — Worse than the old app *2026-07-25, version 2.0.3* The app is very clunky, does not refresh in a timely manner at all, and overall does not work as well as the old app. I’m deleting it until forced to use the new one. Hopefully they give up on this and go back to using the old app. It’s refresh rate was not great either, but much better than the new app, and overall it functions much better. ### 2/5 — Good stuff but now bad with latest update *2026-07-24* Latest update v2.03 messed up a few things ! 1. Thank you and keep building on it! ### 2/5 — Two Stars for Dark Mode *2026-06-15, version 2.0.2* App Does not refresh often or on command, likely heavily throttled. Had to use the other app to get this one working. It does the trick but could be improved with quicker updates, visually is great. ### 1/5 — Pretty but no real function. *2026-06-06, version 2.0.2* This app looks exciting and flashy. But no utility is to be gained. The graphs have no data lines with numbers. They are just line charts the go up and down. There still is no way to annotate ac coupled power as a secondary PV input. In fact it doesn’t display data for ac coupled power at all. The “advanced” settings adjustment is barely basic. You are missing so many important aspects of setting parameters for battery and power usage. This app is a failure if you really wanted to do anything with your system other than look at it, and even then you won’t get half the data the old app gives. Very disappointing. ### 4/5 — Almost there! *2026-05-30, version 2.0.2* Much beter with automatic parallel selection, and cleaner interface. Hope one day features like solar yield today tomorrow are also in the app. And more push notifications options. All in all good ### 5/5 — Big improvement *2026-05-13, version 2.0.2* Much better than the previous app. ### 2/5 — Data seems incorrect *2026-05-12, version 2.0.2* The data reported in this App is significantly different than what’s displayed in the EG4 Monitor App and the desktop (browser) versions - both of the latter agree and seem to be accurate, meaning this App’s data is fundamentally inaccurate. This is obviously troubling for a number of reasons. I recommend pulling this App and retooling prior to re-release. The UI is attractive, but lacks alternative charting for data where fine-grained analysis is required. Looking forward to a revised version. ### 1/5 — Needs more time *2026-05-12, version 2.0.2* I like the idea of what they are going for but they focused way more on looks than functionality. Yeah the old app looks boring and like it was made in the 90s but it just works. Everything you need is right in front of you and if you need to go find something it’s pretty straightforward. If I go to the data screen in the old app I can get a good idea of what the system was doing and how the weather was based on that. In the new app I go there and the best I can do is compare 2 different data points together. It adds more steps and gives less information at the same time. Again I love the idea and it looks nice, it just needs A LOT of work before it can come close to replacing the old app. ### 3/5 — New Not New *2026-05-11, version 2.0.2* Please make this for the iWatch for quick reviews and info on the run.
