Not easy to deal with ### 5/5 — At least as good as SOK-BMS *2024-11-18, version 1.5* This eg4 utility is better than I expected. It’s as good as the SOK-BMS app that I use on those batteries. This doesn’t tell you the charge cycle count or the balance state but the latter at least is available in their windows tools. I like it. The only con is they could have packed every thing into one screen instead two. Well another is you have to choose the bluetooth device every time you start the app and there’s no apparent way to save that info once so you don’t have to enter it again. BTW it looks totally different than the images shown in the listing here, much more attractive. ### 1/5 — Barely useful *2024-06-28, version 1.5* On iOS the app must be manually closed, reopened and reconnected to the battery to show status. The old version clearly graphically displays the % charge vs the new update ### 1/5 — EG4 not communicating with battery *2022-08-10, version 1.4* EG4 app IOS version loads but isn’t communicating with the battery. Bluetooth on. It “sees” two other BMSs in the area but not the EG4-LL or Lifepower 4 batteries. ### 5/5 — Straightforward and Free *2022-06-19, version 1.4* It’s basic, you have to refresh to get values but it’s free and the batteries rule ### 1/5 — Basic, but needs improvement *2022-03-12, version 1.4* Battery from signaturesolar and I am very pleased that this battery not only has BMS but also Bluetooth. The Bluetooth range is fairly weak but usable for my application. So far I’ve had no issues with the battery, the app just seems very basic. Both the battery and this app are made in China so time will tell if value and bang for the buck was worth it or not. If the app gets updated or I have no issues I will upgrade my review a star or two. ### 1/5 — No battery status *2021-11-27, version 1.4* My battery stopped working and the app does not tell a status. It says 50.77 volts but does not show current status. Update app so I can see why my battery will not charge or discharge.
