Best sounding 808 drum kit I’ve found so far. Been using it for years. However, when i have it loaded as AUv3 in bm3, it stops playing after I reopen bm3. Needs preset saving and a touch up on the features overall.

I have a few issues with this emulation that I can flag for others. These are concerning my use on an iPhone XR. There doesn’t seem to be a way to switch the same channel instruments. I can’t access the clave, maracas, or congas. They are in there as I’ve seen the switches on the iPad version. Seems silly. The drums don’t have the same controls. Notably no open hat decay. The third hi hat sound, from programming the open and closed hat together, doesn’t exist. Shame as the rest of it seems implemented so well.

I have the 606, 808, 909, and Lm1 , really great apps, unfortunately the 808 does not connect properly with Cubasis 3 either directly via inter app audio or Audio Units, the app shows up in track creation but won’t record any sound. I tried with Audiobus also but an error message comes up, it may be as suggested by Audiobus that this app needs updated for iOS 14 and now 15.
Any ideas? Apart from that the app is really good and the others all work.

Excellent emulator with many solid features including a more modern sequencer interface. If it could export or send midi, I’d use it heavily.

Great app, very pleased to have an 808 as an AU. I’m having one issue with it in Cubasis though. When I open a song that I made using this app, it does not retain and of the pitch or decay or any other settings that i edited, they all return to the default settings. I also wish we could save kits to use again. It would also be nice if the decay could last longer, but my main issue is with it not remembering settings when reopening songs.

Good to see this is now available as AUv3, works well in hosts like cubasis and nanostudio2. Also, can’t quibble at this price! Thanks.

Have all three drum machines by Elliot.
Far more accurate then most others.
Elliot make the 707, and 606 next please bro.
The touch sequencer is a great concept to these vintage machines.

I use this app to make guitar/bass loops and it's brilliant. Excellent sound, very easy to use, and a great deal of customisation which is very useful. Love it.

I'm gonna ahead a tear, this is so good...  I just got it and it's easy to use....   If I had this when I was a kid, I'd be a producer by now ; )

This is the 808 for the iPad... I just wish there were panning for each instrument. Sound is amazing!!!! If you've owned an 808 like I did you won't go wrong other than panning.

Die Grafik täuscht. Leider viel umständlicher als das Original und dabei deutlich weniger Funktionalität. Pre-Scale? A/B? 1st & 2nd Part?
Closed Hihat dämpft nicht Open Hihat.

EGDR808 ist nur ein einfacher Sampleplayer mit entfernt an 808 erinnernde Sounds.

I was very disappointed with this app...it isn't actually recreating the analog circuitry of the original 808, it's just playing back digital samples. It's a shame, because the feature set and interface is pretty good. It just doesn't sound very convincing.

Deleted.

Just restored a screwy iPad 2016 9.7 from iCloud.

ALLL SAVES GONE.

i only played and experimented with the drum machines but, heinus and groady to the maxx all you Zappa’s!

Do:  screen shoot your beat patterns at least if you haven’t.

Great work EG! 
This plugin runs beautifully as an AUv3 in my DAW - I am sequencing the drums via MIDI input (not via the inbuilt sequencer) and can’t fault the sound quality or the timing - in fact it’s running incredibly smoothly! I especially like the fine control popup for adjusting the knobs/parameters. Thanks for making this essential drum machine readily available in my iOS music production workflow :)

I've had this app for a while now and it still remains fun and sounds great!  The original interface implementation is spot on and the addition of the “quick pattern” function makes pattern adjustments a breeze.  I would love to see AudioShare implementation, but that does not take away from what this app is designed to be - a great 808 emulation. Thank you!
