## What is EggTimer Max?

You crack it open, and it's not quite right — too runny, too chalky, a minute or two off from what you wanted, and there was no way to know beforehand. EggTimer Max fixes that: tell it your egg's weight, temperature and how you like it, and it calculates the exact time based on how heat actually travels through your egg — not a generic one-size-fits-all chart.

No egg app did what I wanted, so I built one that does — and made it good-looking too.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
• A real calculation, not a fixed countdown — the time is computed for your egg's exact weight, starting temperature and doneness
• Three cooking methods — boiling, steaming, or a cold-water start — all solved with the same real calculation, so any way you cook it lands exactly right
• Cooking several eggs at once? It tells you precisely when to drop each one in, so they all reach their perfect doneness at the very same moment (Pro)
• Altitude correction — water boils cooler up high, and the app adjusts for it via the barometer or a manual setting (Pro)

After each cook, a quick "How was your egg?" check-in lets you fine-tune future results — too soft, just right, or too hard. Adjust it anytime in Settings under "Doneness calibration".

Cleaner notifications
Fixed an overlap between the "egg added" message and the queue timer when adding eggs close together.

Interactive walkthrough
Tap the info button and the app walks you through the screen step by step — including the gestures you'd otherwise miss, like dragging a number to fine-tune it or tapping a dot to pick an egg size.

A better cold-water start
Confirm the boil straight from the Lock Screen, and get a reminder while the water is still heating — so a cold start no longer finishes unnoticed in the background.

Optimised throughout
The app has been reworked under the hood: dragging the sliders stays smooth, the animations run lighter, and the whole screen responds more directly.

Plus a range of smaller interface improvements and bug fixes.
