They go splat or squeal and are funny, while the chosen word just lights up. A big annoyance to my eldest son who is otherwise flying along with the game :) ### 1/5 — Awkward interface, boring gameplay *2012-09-30, version 1.1* Looking at the other reviews gives you a clear idea of what this app is like. The 1-2 star reviews actually give valid reasons as to why this app is not great, the 5 stars are just fluff. Here are the cons: - it takes a long time to complete a level. Sometimes the correct words don't appear, and you just have to wait until they do. - my kids enjoy it more when they select the wrong word as there is more of a reaction. Eg. Egg explodes - I have a big problem with poorly designed interfaces, when the app is designed for kids. Kids should be able to easily navigate to be able to start a game quickly. - a minor point, but if you've got a hd version, you can make this a universal app. ### 1/5 — App doesn't load *2012-09-12, version 1.1* App doesn't load, the loading sequence keeps flickering in screen saying loading 100% but just keeps going over and over ### 1/5 — Rewards wrong answers *2012-09-09, version 1.1* I really wanted to like this app. But the reward for tapping the wrong answers is more rewarding than the correct answers! Too slow and not enough opportunity to pass through a level and if two eggs are overlapping when you tap them you get a wrong answer. Shame because the concept is good. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Eggy 100 *2022-01-09, version 1.4.1* Eggy 100 is not helpful for children at all. Yesterday morning at 4am, I already found myself yelling at my child since he was late for his eggy schedule (330am grind if you know you know). I took him by the hair and made sure he would work until 6 (pm). Numerous times throughout my work day I heard my child laughing at eggy 100. What a sin. At one point I was even forced to leave my office to hear what all the RUCKUS was about. I strode in to see my child having a laughing attack as eggy 100 repeated the number 69. I for one do not know what is so funny about this. Eggy seemed to be seductively repeating this number though. Also, as Eggy did this, he seemed to be slowly peeling the lower portion of his shell and winking. What a disturbing sight. If you are a parent, do not install eggy 100 for your child. It will corrupt your young creature’s mind with obvious these signs of SATAN. I would highly recommend investing in the Bible and teaching your child how to be holy instead of how to count using this clown school of an app. I would go to a zoo if I wanted to see this nonsense again. ### 1/5 — Fun to get it wrong!!??? *2017-02-11, version 1.2* Yep, I agree with above comments. I think almost everyone is probably using iOS 7 now so it's time you guys update the app so people can use it! I am so glad I got this one before buying the $2.99 one.
