You're asked to match the picture to the word cat. Not sure where the phonics practice is there really. The second thing is to spell the word cat. When you tap on the letters the letter NAME is announced and not the phonic sound!!! So for example, c 'see' a 'ay' and t 'tee'. If this were actually a phonics app it would announce the sound. You know, like, actual way phonics work..! Don't waste your money.
