Wondering if that snack, sauce, or supplement is actually halal? Point your camera at the ingredient list and EGK HalalCheck AI gives you an instant, ingredient-by-ingredient breakdown - Halal, Syubhah (doubtful), Haram, or Needs Review - with plain-language explanations for every flag.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
Most "halal scanner" apps just guess with a chatbot. We don't. Every verdict in EGK HalalCheck AI comes from a curated ingredient database - not from AI improvisation. Common risk ingredients like gelatin, rennet, L-cysteine, mono- and diglycerides (E471), carmine, and alcohol-derived flavorings are pre-classified with the technical reason behind each flag. If an ingredient isn't in our database, we tell you honestly - "Needs Review" - instead of guessing and calling it safe.

The AI only ever explains a verdict that's already been decided. It never invents one.

Every scan and every AI explanation runs entirely on your iPhone using our EGKAICore on-device AI engine. Your camera frames, ingredient photos, and scan history are never uploaded, logged, or sent to any server. This isn't a marketing claim - there is no server for your data to go to.

EGK HalalCheck AI is a screening aid to help you make faster, more informed decisions at the shelf. It is not a substitute for official halal certification. For a definitive ruling, always check for a recognized halal certification logo (such as JAKIM in Malaysia) or contact the manufacturer directly. When our database can't verify an ingredient, we say so clearly rather than assuming it's safe.

The halal/syubhah/haram flag itself is completely free and unlimited for every user - we believe that's basic safety information that shouldn't sit behind a paywall. EGK HalalCheck AI Pro unlocks unlimited AI-generated plain-language explanations for every ingredient (3 free explanations included before subscribing).

SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS
EGK HalalCheck AI Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual, price shown at purchase in your local currency). Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
