I have only downloaded this as it was required to communicate with a government agency. It also autocorrected my name on setting up the account, and it seems impossible to find where to correct that. It also will not link to my yahoo mail account. Even when I use my work email with a 365 office account I get an error message saying “ you need an active mailbox to read and send messages. Please logout”. When I am using my yahoo email (the one that I use to sign in for my PAID egress account I cannot see my sent messages and I cannot send any of my files in an encrypted mail. Disaster!!! Give the previous version back NOW!! It has been working great for two years! I wishes I had never updated. Cannot do my work now. The blurb says that the egress app can be used as the main email package on the phone. I tried this as I have office 365 home subscription; but when I try to log in the app tells me that I can’t log in because I have a hotmail address. This appears to mean that I would have to increase the cost of the office subs to a business package which I’d rather not do. What was the point of updating the app if it can’t be used as intended? **Developer response:** Unfortunately, you will need a work or school 365 account to use our full mailbox functionality but we will be adding support for personal accounts in the future. In the mean time you can continue to use our app in Reader mode which still allows you to access your secure emails via your normal mail client.
