ElliottGarage presents EGSY01 analog synth v2.0, featuring InterApp audio, AU3, CoreMIDI, Audiobus and much more! With EGSY01 you can create sounds without any limit, from modern ones to vintage analog ones, working with arpeggiator, step sequencer and FM, addictive and subtractive synthesis . The totally brand new audio engine generate your sound mixing 2 oscillators with 4 selectable waveforms, and you can watch the sound created on the oscilloscope screen. You can set the sounds through the panels "Oscillators", "ADSR/LFO", "FM", "FX" and "Settings", and play with any master keyboard or MIDI controller (CORE MIDI), or creating a wireless MIDI network, or again sending the audio signal to other apps with InterApp audio or AUDIOBUS. The keyboard is touch sensitive, and you can modulate the sound by sliding your finger up and down on the keys or moving the pitch modulation (assignable to various parameters of the synth from "Settings" panel). The update with the fix has just been submitted! ### 1/5 — Needs an update…crashes on launch *2023-06-17* I’d say after 4 years it’s definitely time for an update ….either that or remove it from the App Store. I have many of the developers other apps and love most of them but this one hasn’t been shown any love in 4 years. I’m not asking for any new features…just that it works. Thanks for your feedback! ### 5/5 — A good sounding synth *2021-10-13* I found this powerful app quite by accident, so I headed over to YouTube/SoundTestRoom and watched Doug’s demos, and that was it, I was hooked. When EGSY01 is controlled by automation in Cubasis3 it becomes an extremely powerful expressive synth, I am so glad I bought it and I encourage others to buy it too if they are interested in creating awesome sci-fi-ish Ozric Tentacles style spacy presets. Select the “Soi Dead Can’t Dance” preset, tap the Vox tab on the left screen border to flip the ADSR panel and adjust the Vowel slider whilst playing and you can make it talk👌👍 ### 5/5 — Nasty in a good way *2018-11-20* UPDATE: still grate! I’ve had this app for a while and it’s got a very unique sound. Great for noisy edgy loops. Recent updates and AUv3 are extra spice! Good one!! ### 5/5 — Dark Beast Rises *2018-06-26* This synth has lots of grit and growl and has a unique sound from all other synths. The formant filters make it banshee eerie possible. And now in AUv3 it is a great sound tool to have. ### 3/5 — Latest release broken *2018-06-21* Can only open the oscillators face plate. Oscillator faceplate responds as well as keyboard and preset selection. Settings will not open.
