I love that I can read or listen, and that I can cross-reference to the Bible all in one place! If I could see it improve, it would be in the following ways (and maybe I just haven’t figured out how to do these things yet): 1.) I would make the text size adjustable. 2.) I would make the audiobook narration speed adjustable. 3.) I would make it possible to find a text based on the hard copy pages, without having to know which chapter it’s from. For example, if someone says “it’s from DA 624” I could look that up in the app by typing that in the search (is that already possible?) 4.) I would make a list that shows the book title abbreviations and what they stand for. 5.) I would make it possible to access EGW’s Bible Commentaries, whether in this app or through a link to a separate app. Keep up the awesome work! It’s so inspiring and it gives a beautiful life and colour to the Bible truth. The design is slow, clunky, unwieldy, lacks features, and feels old. There needs to be a new version with tabs for multiple locations open at the same time. Search needs to be updated with an LLM framework to make searching for quotes easier. The whole UI needs to be modernized and redone. This app just feels old. I can never get back to where I was, the picture illustrations of the books just take up extra space and make for extra scrolling to find what you need. I enjoy the audiobooks but they are not in the history and good luck trying to get back where you left off. I have yet to find the Bible. I hardly ever use it and usually go to my tablet which has the old app. It’s so much more simple, clear cut, and has great “ease of use”. This app is a mess of too many features and today I found out sections of EGW’s writings were missing! They are not there! I found this out when I was reading CIHS chapt 9(very important!)on the old app on my tablet and decided to print it out which I would need to do from my phone. My phone has only this app and not the old one, so as I was highlighting down the chapter in this app to select what I wanted printed I realized the chapter was cut short after a few paragraphs. I wouldn’t have known any better and thought that was all there was to the chapter except for the fact that I had it on the old app on my tablet and compared the two. I couldn’t believe how much of the chapter was missing. I hope this was a mistake on my part somehow but if not I hope it gets fixed soon so people can read this extremely important chapter! ### 1/5 — With much review *2021-12-29, version 7.6.5* Though there’s some foundational, there’s also some unfoundational teaching that does not align with the holy scripture. My 1 star review is only for this version of the app. Previously rated much higher. For the past several weeks “Updating Book Content” error as kept me from accessing one of my most heavily used apps and makes it impossible to study. I hope this can be remedied soon because I use this app side by side with my Bible as a mainstay of my personal study and devotional time.
