I get an error message almost every time thinking I’m a BOT- the last time I checked, I’m not. I even upgraded the app thinking that they had worked out the bugs, but I still haven’t. . If I want to reserve anything, I do it on their main website and that seems to be pretty decent. It’s probably the worst airline app in the industry, which is a shame because I like Egypt Air and it sure would be more convenient if you didn’t have to go through the website every time. ### 1/5 — Bad app *2026-04-21, version 7.2.0* Worst airline app I ever used. Pretty much what others have said. The app does nothing to help with check-ins or tracking your flight. It’s just an ad for the airline and also the way for them to sell tickets. If you are unlucky to fly with this airline and need to check in do so on their website. Everything you try to do it opens a browser window! What’s the point of the app at this point? It can’t even keep you logged in to your Plus account such that it automatically shows you your bookings and status. Egypt Air is a great airline in terms of airplane condition and cleanliness as well as their flight attendants. It would also be incredibly useful if it stored my bookings. This is been happening for more than 6 months. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — You need an English speaker to proof read *2026-03-05, version 7.2.0* There are several usability issues with this app that make it extremely frustrating to use. First, the login process is confusing. The app asks for a password, but what it actually requires is a seven digit code. This is never clearly stated. I entered a long password multiple times before realizing it was asking for a PIN. If a seven digit code is required, it should clearly say “Create a 7 digit PIN” instead of just “Password.” That would prevent unnecessary failed attempts and frustration. Second, the membership sign up process does not function properly within the app. I was unable to complete registration and had to go to the website instead. An app should fully support core functions like membership enrollment without forcing users to leave the app. Overall, the design and user flow are not intuitive. For example, when selecting a flight, I had to tap the price twice to proceed to checkout. That is not standard behavior and is confusing.
