It amplifies local voices, celebrates Canadian identity, and provides a privacy-first space for meaningful engagement. EH! connects people nationwide through stories that reflect their lives and aspirations, without data mining or feed manipulation. This is for Canadians only yet you’re letting people that are from other countries in the app, and when it comes to joining groups they’re not smart enough to realize that the names of the groups say either Canadian or Ontario members only, when I saw the invitation on Facebook from someone I got excited because I thought I’d be joining a social media where they don’t talk about Donald Trump all the time. ### 4/5 — Love! Clearly still in early days but looks promising. Having issues joining groups. With some group when I click on Join the Group, nothing happens, Join the Group stays there, and I’m not added to the group. No explanations, like if it was a private group or if application to join sent, or max number of groups joined. Just nothing. EDIT: looks like it happens when I click on groups I’ve already joined, but no message saying I’m already a member. And the list of My Groups seems to max out at 10, no option to “load more”, swiping down on the page seems to try to refresh but nothing happens/changes. Also would like there to be ability to share link to my profile so I can let people know other platforms know that I’m here and that they should come here too. Having the toolbar at the bottom stay present globally would be helpful for smoother navigation to avoid having to back up to a page where it shows again. Good start. Easy interface and no junk ads etc, compared to other social networks. Doesn’t crash works great. More settings would be appreciated. And if you need assistance from their amazing team, they will contact you almost immediately. There are no bots, no intentional fake news, trolls, or low-grade brain-rot content, just an abundance of friendly, grounded posts amongst a growing international user base who share in Canada’s free spirit. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No way to avoided phone numbers *2026-08-09* App requires a phone number to sign up. That’s awful, I don’t want to give them that. And what if you have to move to a different area and get a new number? Then your account is lost forever. Get rid of the mandatory phone numbers. ### 1/5 — feels like an alpha product in a beta and shipped world *2026-07-20* I’ve been using this about a year and I deleted my account one time and deleted the app and then came back to try again but I’m feeling like it’s not really something that I would pay for the advanced features for because it feels like I’m using an alpha platform. It’s better than Loon or Hey, but I’m mostly just resharing content from other canadian socials. heavy re-shares of Meta content are annoying, so I’m not really focussing on building content on the app. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-07-15* It was announced as a clean and friendly social media platform, but it has now deteriorated into name-calling and offensive insults, and when you report those incidents to admin, you get zero response. What gives!
