### 4/5 — Ralphus says Mostly Good

*2026-08-24, version 10.90*

I find it disappointing to receive lots of lovely ladies’ profiles who live much too far from me. I have stipulated less than 30miles away and have recently received profiles of ladies living more than 250miles away. If only eharmony would take note of the request, I would give them top marks.

### 4/5 — Garbage app

*2026-08-23, version 10.90*

They won’t even show you one picture of who you’re trying to match with. Don’t bother.

### 3/5 — Is it more money?

*2026-08-22, version 10.90*

Why can’t I see the people that I have contacted

### 2/5 — Can’t type replies

*2026-08-21, version 10.90*

This app crashes about half the time when I try to type a reply to a message on my iPad. Then I have to start over and hope that it Wii work this time.

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2026-08-18, version 10.90*

I downloaded this app and to get anywhere you have to pay for a subscription and it’s $45 a month for 3 months. I got to the point where I could start matching people and there was 6 people in my area. I tried getting my money back they will not even though I was on the app for 15 mins and requested my account to be deleted. Horrible company.. stick to hinge or bumble.

### 1/5 — Important to know

*2026-08-18, version 10.90*

Don't get the one-year package. They don't cancel it, and the app isn't used by that many people. You'll always run out of options.

### 1/5 — Garbage app

*2026-08-18, version 10.90*

I gave the 3 day free trial a chance and by day 2 I ran out of potential matches in a city with a population of 1/2 million. The was in a 30 mile range of my zip. All dating apps are horrible.

### 1/5 — $600 a year

*2026-08-18, version 10.90*

You can’t engage people. You can’t see who likes you, they literally blur every photo until you pay. You can’t even message AT ALL unless you pay membership. They don’t even let you choose a TOWN OR CITY unless you pay. Do not use this app to meet people unless you have 50+ a month to spare. This app is pernicious and is a complete financial sinkhole. It takes months to find good matches and I’m handsome af. I look like Kobe Bryant. I’m not even joking. This app is a money grab. Don’t use it. It’s a joke.

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money

*2026-08-18, version 10.90*

There are much better ways to meet people. This app has very low quality people and they won’t let you out of your contract. If
I could give it a negative I would

### 1/5 — Totally a scam

*2026-08-17, version 10.90*

I was recommended this site because a friend of mine found someone on there so I was excited to join, however, after paying for a 6 month ( smallest amount of time btw) I took the time to fill out the lengthy questionnaire and then started to browse the profiles, well after 1 day, 1 day people, I had seen all the profiles in my area, I did not want to open it up to all of Canada, just my small province of Nova Scotia, and there were no one else, so everyday I’d go on and everyday it would say expand your search settings to see more, so I would have to either open it up to all of Canada or change my age preferences, and as a 53 year old, I didn’t want to date 25 year olds(my son’s age) or 80 year olds. When I reached out to ask to get a refund, they just responded with they will cancel the renewal, which is useless, so now I’m going to be paying nearly $33/ month for NOTHING. I am so upset, so if my review could help someone in not joining this site, then the loss of that money will at least be worth it. Don’t waste your time or money. 😡

### 3/5 — Not worth the money

*2026-08-17, version 10.90*

Last year I had success meeting someone and I thought I was done with these apps. However life happens. I had renewed my membership late last year and for every one real profile, I get matched with five fakes. What can be done to filter these fakes?

Also, why is it so expensive for a three month membership. Isn’t the job of this app is to help you find someone not keep you on the app for over a year.

### 1/5 — Cash grab

*2026-08-17, version 10.90*

They want you to pay money to see the person you’re trying to date. Enough said

### 1/5 — Insanely expensive

*2026-08-16, version 10.90*

Over 400 bucks for a year to use this app is crazy! I’m not that desperate. Bring back old school ways of finding people that you don’t have a break your pocket, my goodness. This company should be ashamed of themselves. I would say, the detailed information is nice. You can target your type with specificity. That’s the 1 star. Other wise would be 0 stars.

### 1/5 — ABSOLUTE SCAM!

*2026-08-16, version 10.90*

Not only can you not see other people’s profiles without paying a monthly or yearly subscription, they will not approve any photos you upload and won’t let you close your account to remove data. Absolute Scam!! Worst dating app I have ever experienced!

### 1/5 — Should have read the reviews

*2026-08-15, version 10.90*

Absolutely disgusting subscription system, it charged me £60 even though I cancelled it in the first 14 days that is the cancellation period. The app is definitely not worthy it considering that everybody was highly compatible with me which was a joke because most of the people there were definitely not compatible with me. I’ve used the filters and despite selecting things, it was showing me people with exactly the opposite of what I was asking for. Which again thought it was not good. Should have read the reviews. Use hinge that is cheaper, better and so easy to cancel. You don’t need to email. You just press a button.

### 1/5 — Money grab

*2026-08-14, version 10.90*

You can hardly use the app if you aren’t paying monthly. Can’t narrow down the search radius, can’t view people’s pictures, can’t really message enough for meaningful conversations. This is a joke.

### 1/5 — Fraudulent Site?

*2026-08-14, version 10.90*

I recently subscribed to eharmony. Initially I was sent about a dozen potential matches. Most from people two hours away or more. I’m 67, very fit and good health for my age. Over the following 3 weeks I was sent one more potential match. Again 2 hours away. ONE. I live in NJ. The most densely populated state in the country. There are almost 700,000 people living in my county alone. THERE IS NOBODY ON THIS APP. Maybe it’s an age issue. I don’t know. I contacted eharmony via email. I received an automated A.I. reply. Not too caring at all. I emailed again. Allegedly a human replied. Told me to change my settings. Sorry. Not doing that. I know the type of person I’d like to meet. Asked for them to cancel my account. They replied I have a contract, no can do. I replied so do they. eharmony HAS NOT held up to THEIR end of the contract. The site appears to be a cash grab. I will resolve it through my credit card. I do not recommend eharmony. Maybe for a twenty something it may work. But I’d say if you are over 40, skip this one. If you live in a less populated area you’ll NEVER see a match here. But you’ll be out a few hundred bucks.

### 3/5 — Disappointing Experience — Not Worth the Cost

*2026-08-14, version 10.90*

I am extremely disappointed with my experience on eHarmony. I joined expecting a reputable dating service that would provide quality, compatible matches, especially considering the cost of the membership. Unfortunately, the matches I have received have been very disappointing and often do not seem compatible with what I am looking for.

At this point, I seriously question the value of the service and whether I am receiving what I paid for. My experience has left me feeling as though the service does not live up to what is advertised. I would not recommend paying for a membership based on my experience.

### 1/5 — Very disappointed

*2026-08-14, version 10.90*

My wife passed last year and so I decided to try this service. I had Eharmony for their multiple month deal, one day my account doesn’t exist and I can’t log in it’s like it never existed, no notice or email sent just gone, I was in good standing. And then they sent it to collections. I’ll not use this service again and tell everyone I know avoid it. Not to mention the extremely low amount of paying accounts and therefore legitimate users vs. the free accounts, maybe they were tired of me reporting all the spam accounts. Anyway there’s far better options out there for way less money.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2026-08-13, version 10.90*

Stick with the free stuff. Their “matching” is awful. Nothing spectacular or hopeful. Conned into 3 months for matches which are mostly 150 or more miles away, then they resend the same ones you rejected for “second chance.” Tried to get my money back on day one and they refused.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — The worst

*2026-08-26, version 10.90*

No matches. $/148 wasted

### 1/5 — Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience.

*2026-08-26, version 10.90*

I would honestly warn people to be very careful before subscribing to eHarmony. I found the cancellation process extremely difficult and felt like I was being pushed into continuing a subscription I no longer wanted. Despite trying to cancel, I was still concerned about being charged again.

The whole experience has made me feel like the company cares more about taking your money than making cancellation straightforward and transparent. For a service that involves people trusting you with their money, this is unacceptable.

My advice: read the subscription and renewal terms very carefully before paying. I personally would not recommend eHarmony based on my experience with trying to cancel.

### 1/5 — Scammers

*2026-08-25, version 10.90*

I would not recommend using this app. In my experience, it was very misleading. It says you can join for free, but once you sign up, there may be charges that are not made clear upfront. It can not get a refund, and the subscription may renew automatically, resulting in additional charges.

I strongly recommend reading all the subscription terms, cancellation policy, and automatic renewal conditions carefully before signing up.

### 1/5 — Poor Customer Service and No Goodwill

*2026-08-25, version 10.90*

My experience with eHarmony was disappointing—not because the service wasn’t a good fit for me, but because of how the company handled a very reasonable customer-service request.

I joined on July 19 and quickly realized that the platform wasn’t compatible with the way I approach dating. I contacted customer service to cancel and asked whether they would consider a partial refund given that I had used the service for less than a month. I explicitly acknowledged that my request was outside their stated cancellation policy. I was asking for a small gesture of goodwill—not disputing their terms.

Instead, I received multiple responses simply repeating a policy I already understood, followed by a patronizing offer to “spend time going over” concerns I had never raised and help I had never requested.

Even a $50 refund would have been a small gesture of good faith and could have left me with a positive impression of the company. Instead, eHarmony chose to rigidly hide behind its policy and then offered unsolicited “help” rather than actually addressing the request being made.

The result? They didn’t just lose a customer. They lost any goodwill that might have led me to recommend the company or consider it again in the future.

A company has every right to enforce its policies. But customer service is also about judgment, discretion, and knowing when a small gesture is worth more than rigidly enforcing the letter of a policy. eHarmony missed that opportunity completely.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2026-08-24, version 10.90*

Stick with the free stuff. Their “matching” is awful. Nothing spectacular or hopeful, matches were divorced 2 weeks, no personality. Conned into 3 months for matches which are mostly 150 or more miles away, then they resend the same ones you rejected for “second chance.” Tried to get my money back on day one and they refused. Now have a email saying one of the matches on my profile had to be removed for security reasons. They still refused to stop charging my account. I went on Hinge and have gotten over 30-50 local better quality matches a day and have multiple fates set up, and it was free. Eharmony keeps charging $65 a month for unavailable, extremely limited matches, aka, zero.

### 1/5 — terrible app

*2026-08-23, version 10.90*

You have to choose immediately if you want to contact the match or not. If you want to view other profiles you cannot until you decide on the first profile. At some point you will go through all your suggested profiles and you will have to wait a few days to get a new profile delivered to you. horrible, not worth the expensive cost.

### 1/5 — ABSOLUTE SCAM!

*2026-08-22, version 10.90*

Not only can you not see other people’s profiles without paying a monthly or yearly subscription, they will not approve any photos you upload and won’t let you close your account to remove data. Absolute Scam!! Worst dating app I have ever experienced!
Update: I emailed customer support to delete my account since they wouldn’t let me. The response was: they are unable to delete my account!

### 1/5 — Poor and very sly

*2026-08-21, version 10.90*

“ Matches” do not match with myself at all, for all the effort you have to go through to set your account up, one would expect significantly better matches. Also, i could not search the data base of users, only what eharmony wanted me to look at

But the worst part is how difficult they make it to cancel a subscription. Very quick and easy methods to take your money, but to cancel, if not purchased through apple requires written request to cancel and only gia email or sending a letter. They also try to lock you in for 12 months, even though you only sign up for month to month

Very sly

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2026-08-21, version 10.90*

I paid for a full year of eHarmony, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst subscriptions I’ve ever purchased.
From the beginning, I found both the website and the app confusing and not very user-friendly. There isn’t enough explanation about how everything works, and getting help or finding good customer service is difficult. I often found myself frustrated just trying to figure out how to use the service effectively.
What disappointed me most was how inactive and repetitive it felt. For months, I seemed to see the same profiles over and over again. I wish there were a better way to organize or set aside profiles you’ve already looked at so you can focus on new ones.
I took the time to complete my profile and genuinely tried to use the service, but after paying for an entire year, I didn’t get anything meaningful out of it—not even a conversation that went anywhere. The whole experience felt strangely empty.
Another thing I really disliked was the subscription policy. When you sign up, you agree to a long-term subscription with only a very short period to change your mind. After that, you’re basically committed to paying for the subscription even if you quickly realize the service isn’t what you expected. It left me with the impression that the policy is designed to lock customers in before they’ve had enough time to discover whether the service actually works for them.
I understand that no dating service can guarantee that you’ll meet someone, but for the price eHarmony charges, I expected a much better platform, more activity, clearer guidance, better customer support, and a more reasonable way to cancel if the service isn’t right for you.
For me, it was absolutely not worth the money, and I regret purchasing the annual subscription.

### 1/5 — Scam!

*2026-08-21, version 10.90*

Be very careful before signing up! They process payment externally rather than through standard app subscription, meaning you cannot manage or cancel it through your Apple account setting!!!!
Their promotional offers are misleading, the %50 off first month locks you into an ongoing payment that your credit card provider cannot block on their end.
There is no app unsubscribe option and you have to submit a support ticket and customer service just responds that they will continue charging you every month avoid the app.
If you are in Canada file a complain with Consumer protection (Ontario) , Competition Bureau Canada and FCAC.

Happy

### 5/5 — Price For Love

*2026-07-20, version 10.88*

Literally just signed up and the prices are extortionate. £400 for two years, I thought you guys were all about ‘matching me with the best possible outcome’ or something like that? Don’t lie to me and tell me that’s your mission statement ffs. ONLY rated 5 stars so other people will see this. Nice plan, find a girl and take her out on a date, yeah sorry luv but we can’t go to the cinema or for a decent meal or do anything fun, the app I met you on emptied out my wallet beforehand…
What a joke, hope your business collapses.

### 5/5 — A nice way to meet nice people!

*2026-07-08, version 10.87*

Like anything in life, You get what you put into it. And God will bring him to you when the time is right. So hold your houses. Let’s start the dance!

### 5/5 — I can’t find where to make payment it always shows me try again later I just open it last night

*2026-07-06, version 10.87*

Don’t know yet because I can’t make payment so I can message and find someone

### 5/5 — Good

*2026-07-05, version 10.87*

Best

### 5/5 — Money grubbing

*2026-06-20*

This app has a terrible user experience compared to the other options out there, is outrageously expensive, and won’t let you cancel once you realize what a waste of money it is. There aren’t even many profiles on the app (I would imagine because of the large expense for poor quality product), which means you get maybe 2 profiles to swipe through per day, sometimes none. The app doesn’t respect your perameters or boundaries either. No matter how many times I set geographic perameters for example it pulls from across the country and often globally just to show 1-2 profiles that aren’t event relevant matches. At $100+ per billing cycle you might as well invest in a match maker lol. Or use one of the many other competitive, reasonably priced apps out there that other people are actually on. There are other frustrations too, like glitches when uploading photos and a lovely photo of mine with a low cut blouse was deemed inappropriate and not permitted to post even though men are showing body parts left and right and there is nothing inappropriate about a low cut blouse unless you have some serious biases about controlling women’s bodies, this app is just gross in so many ways

### 5/5 — Matched

*2026-06-11, version 10.84*

I met my husband on this app and now we have a baby! It’s possible!! Thanks eharmony!

### 5/5 — Thieves!! Avoid at all costs!!

*2026-06-11, version 10.84*

Signing up for eharmony is one of the biggest financial mistakes a person can make, and anyone considering it needs to know that this company operates like absolute thieves. They reel you in with the promise of finding a serious relationship, but their actual business model is a predatory trap designed to lock you into a massive financial commitment you cannot escape. They trick you by displaying what looks like a manageable monthly fee, but what they completely bury in the fine print is that you are actually signing an ironclad one-year or two-year contract. Even if you realize within the first few weeks that the app is completely useless, you are stuck paying for the entire year, and there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop it.
The platform itself is a complete waste of money. You pay an incredibly steep price for a service that feels totally dead and entirely broken, yet they keep draining your bank account month after month. It is infuriating to watch your hard-earned money leave your account for something you haven’t touched in months and have absolutely no intention of using again. They make it incredibly easy to take your card details, but the moment you try to walk away because the product is garbage, they completely lock down the exits.
If you try to reach out to their customer service to explain your situation, you will face a total brick wall. Their email support doesn't care about customer satisfaction or fairness at all; they only care about taking your money. You can send back-and-forth emails explaining that you don't use the app and asking them to stop the billing, but they will completely ignore your pleas and just copy-paste their rigid terms and conditions at you. They will even happily let you delete your profile if you ask, but they will stubbornly continue to charge your credit card for the remaining months of the contract. They are modern-day scammers hiding behind corporate policies, and anyone looking for love should avoid them at all costs before they end up paying hundreds of pounds for absolutely nothing.

### 5/5 — Best dating site yet

*2026-06-09, version 10.84*

These folks really have some good features on their dating platform, and I am quite pleased with the ‘I like you’-‘you like me’- so let’s chat- function. Thank you, eHarmony, for bringing new people into my life!!

### 5/5 — Best online dating site.

*2026-06-02, version 10.84*

I only just joined up, and have already had several positive responses with in a couple of days, no adds and so far no scammers sending pop up links asking for personal information and fees to meet someone. So far I am finally experiencing a dating site that is actually all about finding a soulmate.
