Es ist alles eingestellt, alles verbaut, nun muss man hoffen das man auch nach 5min in das gewählte Gerät reinkommt nachdem es x male fehlgeschlagen ist!!! Intuitiv ist da gar nichts. Hilfestellungen bei der Einrichtung? Nein. Das mit dem WLAN hat man noch nicht so ganz verstanden, und dass ich die Uhr und das Datum von Hand stellen soll? Vorsintflutlich. Nachtrag ein Jahr später: NEIN! Müll, Autofeedeer + jetzt unbrauchbar. Kein Connect mehr! ### 1/5 — Never Connects *2025-11-28* I’ve had this heater for several years. I got it back out of storage and tried again. Nothing, It never connects to wifi so it’s useless. App is useless if it doesn’t connect to WiFi. **Developer response:** Please make sure to respect the maximum water level for the WiFi heaters. WiFi doesn’t work under water. Do please make sure to submerse the heater under water. https://youtu.be/3pEe1tOzFjw?si=7tPezbtzlB_oxdIS ### 1/5 — Findet keine Geräte im lokalen Netz *2025-11-25, version 2.1.12* Auch eine Variante die App abzuschalten, wenn sie einfach keine der EHEIM Geräte im Netz findet. ### 1/5 — Völlig unbrauchbar *2025-11-23, version 2.1.12* Ich kann sämtliche hier beschriebenen Probleme nur bestätigen. Leider ist auch der Eheim-Sevice nur in der Lage, auf Updates und die direkte Verbindung der Geräte über das eigene Wlan hinzuweisen. Auch bei dem Versuch, die Geräte über den Browser zu steuern, kommt es ständig zu Verbindungsabbrüchen. Seit dem Update 2.1.12 ist zwar jetzt eine einigermassen stabile Verbindung möglich. Dafür Funktioniert der PH Control überhaupt nicht mehr - bei einem gemessenen KH Wert von 6 und Begrenzung auf einen PH Wert von 6,8 schaltet der Controller nicht mehr ab, so dass inzwischen der PH Wert auf 6,5 gesunken ist. Es wurde somit alles noch schlimmer! ### 1/5 — leider mal wieder Probleme *2025-11-15, version 2.1.8* Nach dem letzten Softwareupdate, welches an sich gut funktioniert hat, zeigt die Software in einem separaten Fenster den Stand der Aktualisierung. Dieses Fenster lässt sich in keinster Weise schließen. Entsprechend ist eine Bedienung über die App aktuell nicht möglich. 🤮 ### 1/5 — Top class product , terrible app *2025-11-14* This is by far the worst app I have ever seen in the aquarium world. Je sais comment on peut crée à notre époque un truc pareil. Impossible de gérer à distance franchement nul. ### 2/5 — Mediocre app *2025-10-10, version 2.0.35* Confusing and unintuitive UI, very buggy, full of glitches, both UI and functional ones. I can’t see how anyone can release an app in such a bad shape, some bugs are obvious and 100% reproducible. Seems like the developers have no QA or they are ignoring it for some reason. But the app is not even my worst problem. The EHEIM controllers are very problematic too, my light controllers hang every other day, I have to turn them off and on, otherwise the light won’t switch off at night. It’s really bad. I must say I am very disappointed with EHEIM. Thought I am buying a top even if expensive product, but it’s just expensive and buggy. ### 1/5 — Backwards *2025-10-05, version 2.0.35* The whole process of onboarding a chiller makes no sense whatsoever and extremely difficult. Considering the chiller is just a rebadged Teco, the Teco app is light years ahead. ### 1/5 — The Product or the App? *2025-10-02, version 2.0.35* If I could give it no stars, I would. Difficult (impossible) to set up - printed instructions are useless. The product/device (CO2 Controller+E) creates the WIFI field and smart device (iPhone 16 pro or iPad - tried both) connects to it OK. But the app fails to load - just gets stuck in a continuous loop saying “warming up the application” and won’t proceed. At one stage a message popped up saying there is an update available so I clicked on it. More messages saying “downloading” then “uploading to device” then “restarting device”. After 20 or so minutes the message is “upload failed”. And it goes back to the continuous loop of “warming up the application”. Tried this at least six times, but still haven’t been able to use the product/device. I’ve deleted the app & reinstalled it and turned off and restarted mobile device - same result every time. Returning the CO2 Controller today as it can’t be used without the app. ### 2/5 — Réglages luminaires *2025-09-27, version 2.0.35* Bug ### 1/5 — Wirklich schlecht *2025-09-11, version 2.0.35* Das Zeug funktioniert wirklich schlecht und wenn es dann mal läuft mach es sich beim nächsten Update kaputt. I used Eheim products without WiFi which are great. Unfortunately I made a big mistake and changed all the aquarium equipment to a series with WiFi control. A complete disaster! The WiFi drops out or gets cut off on the module. To log in to the home WiFi again, the product pairing will take a few attempts, if at all. In addition, the modules do not contain historical graphs and data. It is also a shame that the company does not allow remote management and viewing of module data after connecting to the home WiFi with access to the net. Overall rating: very expensive product, very poorly functioning and very lagging behind the competition. The application is perhaps even worse, a great shame for otherwise high-quality mechanics. ### 1/5 — Das hatte ich so nicht erwartet *2026-01-28, version 2.1.14* Ich war immer schon EHEIM Fan. Aquarium von EHEIM, Filter von EHEIM, Leuchten von EHEIM und jetzt der Classic Control von EHEIM. Dieser bzw. die App sind der Qualität von EHEIM nicht würdig. Eine Verbindung zum Controler kommt in den seltensten Fällen zu Stande. Die Bedienung und das Layout sind eine Katastrophe, die Sprache wechselt ständig zwischen Deutsch und Englisch. Irgendwie wirkt das Ganze überhaupt nicht ausgereift und durchdacht. Schade, zumal das Teil (Control) doch echt gutes Geld kostet. ### 1/5 — Totaler Reingall *2026-01-27, version 2.1.14* Totaler Reinfall in Sachen Softwareentwicklung. Die Mensch-Computer-Interaktion ist ein Desaster. Das Interface reagiert nicht! Schnittstellen mit dem Netzwerk werden nicht angezeigt in der App. Man kann allerdings über den Browser darauf souverän zugreifen. ### 1/5 — Nur wegen dieser App muss ich meine EHEIM classicLEDcontrol+e zurück in den Laden bringen. *2026-01-10, version 2.1.14* Ich besitze ein EHEIM classicLEDcontrol+e Gerät, und die zugehörige App funktioniert leider sehr schlecht. Es ist nicht nur unmöglich, den Tageslichtzyklus in den Einstellungen anzupassen, sondern er ist auch auf 23:59 Uhr beschränkt. Normalerweise schalte ich die Aquarienbeleuchtung gegen 2:00 Uhr nachts aus, daher ist die App für mich völlig ungeeignet. Außerdem werden die Einstellungen überhaupt nicht gespeichert, sodass ich den manuellen Modus verwenden muss. Selbst dann dauert es ewig, bis sich mein Smartphone mit dem Eheim-WLAN verbindet, bevor ich die Beleuchtung ein- oder ausschalten kann. Auch in diesem Modus würde die Dimmfunktion zwar funktionieren, aber selbst diese arbeitet nur sporadisch, und es ist unklar, was ihre Funktion steuert. ### 1/5 — App macht Update mit Controller zusammen *2025-12-20, version 2.1.14* Seitdem geht die Lampe nicht mehr an. Ich habe den Kundenservice angerufen und die können mir auch nicht weiterhelfen. Ich habe so viel Geld für 4 Futterautomaten ausgegeben. Diese haben nichtmal eine Resetfunktion. I’ve been using the website with the ip address and was working fine but required several button clicks to get there. Now all I have to do is click this app and I’m there. I haven’t tried doing a full new setup using this app but if you get everything setup and running via the website and then connect everything here it should work well. Kann jemand mir helfen? ### 4/5 — Es funktioniert irgendwie, aber … *2026-02-12, version 2.1.14* Die App erlaubt zwar schnell eine Verbindung mit meinem Autofeeder+ über sein lokales WLAN herzustellen (QR Code am Gerät gescannt), nur wäre es schön, wenn dann nicht sofort ein Firmware Update versucht werden würde, welches dreimal nicht funktioniert und dann nur über App Neustart und Autofeeder Ein-Aus und erneutem Verbindungsversuch etc. etc. ich endlich auch eine Nutzeransicht in der App bekommen habe. Dort dann für den Autofeeder eine WLAN Verbindung zu meinem lokalen WLAN einzurichten lässt Optimierungspotential erkennen.
