### 5/5 — Beautifully written and composed

Listening to this piece was an incredibly immersive. Being able to walk with the story, to listen to the voices telling this important and moving story—as a listener I felt really carried by it. The story covers important history in a very personal and accessible way, connecting it to family stories. The artwork and music/soundscape is masterful. I will listen to it again!

### 5/5 — Beautiful app

Beautiful storytelling and such an interactive and immersive experience with the walking pedometer! I hope there’s a part two in the works ☺️

### 5/5 — Wonderful Immersive App

*2023-11-29, version 1.1.2*

It took me two episodes to become totally engaged in the story because I had to figure out my optimum walking conditions for listening to it. I started walking on busy city streets and my blu ray ear pieces don't block sound very well and I missed a lot of the information. I restarted and did my walking in a nearby ravine trail and I totally got into the audio piece. Having a walking expert speak about walking really helped to create a wonderful immersive experience and the story of paw paw created a conceptual depth with many layers of meaning. Sound design is impeccable.

### 5/5 — Excellent Story

Wonderful storytelling in a very creative format. Engaging from start to finish. Would recommend to anyone - those looking for a great tale or just to get some steps in!

### 5/5 — Worthwhile experience

*2023-10-17, version 1.1.1*

Gripping true story and excellent production. My only complaint is that it lasts for under 20,000 steps. I was expecting it to be longer, but it was effective in getting the message across. Everything about it worked: the emotion of the story and the way that it was told. Wish there were more like this.

### 5/5 — Nice story

Pretty interesting

### 5/5 — Eighty Thousand Steps

*2023-10-07, version 1.1.1*

The story of Gold is captivating. Following her journey out of China during the war with your own steps is magic. The production quality envelops you in another world and when Eighty Thousand Steps is over, you want more. (Which is good for your step count 😊)

### 5/5 — A beautiful tale

*2023-10-04, version 1.1*

This is a sensitive and beautiful use of technology and I love the way it’s powered by walking. The story is magical!

### 5/5 — Beautifully immersive storytelling

*2023-09-25, version 1.0*

This is the perfect app for anyone who loves beautiful storytelling. Whether you’re already an avid walker or looking to start adding more steps to your day, the interactive design encourages you to get moving and lose yourself in another world. The chapters are broken up into manageable chunks of time too. The only problem is you won’t want to stop walking and listening to the story.

### 5/5 — Innovative, immersive storytelling

*2023-09-20, version 1.0*

Wow! This approach to storytelling feels so fresh and real and human. Powering the story with my walking aligns so well with the narrative. And, the sound design is next level impressive. Kudos to everyone involved!
