EinkBro is a lightweight, fast browser designed for simplicity — and for anyone who wants calm, distraction-free reading on iPhone and iPad.

Groundwork for default-browser support: EinkBro now registers itself as a handler for http and https links.
No other user-facing changes in this release.

New start page
- A built-in start page with a search box and your own grid of shortcuts.
- Add or remove tiles yourself; each tile picks up the site's own icon.
- Tap the title to rename the heading or set a background image.
- Follows your dark mode setting. Turn it on under Settings > UI > New tab behavior.

Faster translation
- Translating a long article now starts almost immediately instead of stalling
  on a slow first pass.
- Fixed the page drifting sideways once translation started.
- Fixed the stutter caused by the page being rescanned over and over.
- Paragraphs that fail to translate are now retried on their own.
- The copy button in the translation dialog now really copies to the clipboard.

Reader mode
- Some sites showed a bare URL where the article title should be. Fixed.
- Reading time now sits next to a link back to the original page.

Site settings
- On iPhone these now open as a full page instead of a cramped dialog.
- Custom CSS and post-load JavaScript are editable again.

• Richer long-presses — Back: recent history; Bookmark: edit before saving
• Edge-to-edge bottom toolbar
• AI reasoning effort — global setting plus a per-action override (Off/Low/Medium/High); supports OpenAI-style APIs, self-hosted servers, and Gemini
• Verify your Gen AI key/model directly from settings

• Sharper website icons in tabs and history
• History/Tabs panel draws over the toolbar
• New tabs no longer flash white in dark mode
• Closing the current tab shows the tab it reveals
• Gemini's internal reasoning no longer leaks into AI replies
• About screen shows the correct version
