## What is EIS Mobile POS?

Welcome to EIS Mobile POS - Official POS application for the Electronic Invoicing System (EIS) provided by the Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA).

This initial release includes:
- Fast and secure point-of-sale transactions
- Real-time transaction processing and updates
- Digital invoice creation and management
- Offline mode with automatic syncing
- Simple and intuitive user interface

This update brings improved transaction reliability, better buyer validation, smoother handling of submission errors, and general performance improvements.

### 1.0.11 — 2026-03-23

This update improves app stability, speed, and the overall sales experience. We’ve made loading states smoother on key screens, refreshed the Home screen layout, improved recent transaction visibility, and updated product loading when opening the cart so you can continue selling even when the server is unavailable.

This update improves invoice reliability, receipt printing, and day-to-day POS usability. We’ve added better visibility for submitted and unsubmitted invoices, improved PDF receipt formatting and reprint support, enhanced export and VAT relief transaction handling, and refined the sales and printer setup experience. We’ve also introduced update-check support and improved device permission handling for a more stable app experience.
