### 2/5 — Not user friendly

*2026-08-13, version 1.2.23*

My biggest issue is the mailbox. I wish you could reply to messages vs having to create a new one each time.

### 2/5 — Not a great app

*2026-08-09, version 1.2.23*

No notifications for new messages, so many bugs in viewing test results and medical charts, no proper way of seeing the appointment time. I don’t understand why the developers don’t bother fixing anything. It’s not rocket science!

### 2/5 — No alert for messages

*2026-08-07, version 1.2.23*

It’s great getting all the information on the app but it doesn’t alert you when you’ve received a new message.
The calendar doesn’t show you your appointment on the appropriate date, it just stays in the date the appointment was created on. The app is harder to navigate than the desktop version.

### 2/5 — Not the best

*2026-08-06, version 1.2.23*

Honestly it isn’t user friendly. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and still shows notifications that I’ve already confirmed a hundred times which is frustrating. If this app wasn’t needing for the journey my partner and I are on I would never recommend it or use it again.

### 2/5 — Glitches

*2026-08-03, version 1.2.23*

Very glitchy when using

### 2/5 — Terrible app

*2026-07-31, version 1.2.23*

The worst medical portal I’ve ever used. Why can’t you reply to messages? Awful layout.

### 1/5 — Zero stars

*2026-07-22, version 1.2.23*

This app is useless. The calendar function doesn’t work; it shows all appointments I’ve ever had on the current day. The appointment titles don’t make sense. It says there are tasks left to do, but nowhere that lists tasks. And I can’t message my provider. IVF clinics should be ashamed of choosing this app as it just makes things more frustrating for patients!

### 1/5 — Not user friendly, broke entirely

*2026-07-22, version 1.2.23*

Notifications don’t go away, UI is a bit slow/unresponsive, and symbols aren’t intuitive. It is generally mostly functional, but it’s not great. Edit: and now I can’t even log in, so I can’t access any of my information.

### 1/5 — The app is not user friendly

*2026-07-21, version 1.2.23*

The clinic is good but the app is difficult to navigate, and feels clunky.

### 1/5 — Very bad app

*2026-07-20, version 1.2.23*

Useless can’t download documents can’t really do nothing with it

### 3/5 — Can't send messages

*2026-07-20, version 1.2.23*

For the life of my I cannot get to my messages.

### 1/5 — Please invest in the app

*2026-07-20, version 1.2.23*

Let me start by saying the clinic itself deserves five stars. The doctors and staff were incredible—kind, knowledgeable, they kept their promises, and most importantly, they got amazing results. It’s obvious CNY invests its profits into research, expanding to new clinics, and helping more families, which is genuinely admirable.

Which is exactly why I’m completely baffled that the app looks like it was created in 2009, back when smartphones were still a novelty… and then never touched again. I honestly can’t comprehend what program was used to build it, but whatever it was, I hope it’s finally been retired.

The app is the face of your company. It’s the primary way patients communicate during one of the most stressful and emotional experiences of their lives. It is arguably the single most important line of communication you have. So, for the love of God, hire someone to work on it. Literally anyone. A seasoned developer, a college intern, or even a high school dropout with access to YouTube tutorials. At this point, any of them would probably make improvements.

Sometimes I wonder if the app was intentionally designed as an obstacle course to weed out the weak and vulnerable before treatment even starts.

For example, there’s a bug where tapping the profile icon logs me out and immediately crashes the app. The impressive part? That exact glitch existed when I first used the app in 2023, and here we are years later with the same problem.

The messaging system deserves its own award for chaos. You can’t simply reply to the person who sent you a message. Instead, you have to guess which message group your response belongs in. Then another group asks you the exact same questions you already answered, or no one responds at all. Eventually you find yourself trapped in an endless loop of repeating the same information until you question your own sanity and give up.

Need to upload a document? Not from your phone... In an era where people file taxes, sign mortgages, and deposit checks from their phones, this app expects you to go find a computer and convert images to pdf files.

The sad part is that this app is attached to a clinic that otherwise provides excellent care. The people are wonderful. The medical care is wonderful. The app, however, feels like a time capsule from the dawn of the App Store. I write this review to finally let out all my frustration.

Please. Keep changing lives—but also update the app. Your patients deserve communication tools from this decade.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-07-17, version 1.2.23*

Terrible app

### 1/5 — Worst app

*2026-07-15, version 1.2.23*

Such a bad UX, no clinic should onboard to this app ever

### 1/5 — Ugh

*2026-07-14, version 1.2.23*

I’m pretty sure I could make a better app on ChatGPT with no experience.

### 1/5 — Genuinely awful app

*2026-07-14, version 1.2.23*

I couldn’t agree more with the other reviews noting how bad the functionality of this app is. Maybe it’s better on android (hopefully?!) but as an iOS user this app is nearly completely useless. You are better off checking the portal (which is also badly designed, mind you) on a browser than ever downloading this garbage. Small mercy is that it is a free app so at least you aren’t paying for the privilege of being frustrated and confused about how someone could possibly have designed a phone app to be so unusable. RIP!

### 1/5 — Shocked this gets over 3 stars

*2026-07-14, version 1.2.23*

I like many it seems have no option but to use this app to communicate with my clinic. Maybe that’s why they don’t take the time to make it functional? They know we will use it regardless. This feels like dial up with a flip phone. Why in the world can’t you reply and have a normal email thread? It’s crazy.

The layout is clunky and not user friendly. Many areas to fill in info is not mobile optimized. The login system was challenging and often logs out.

Please UX team if you see this, take pride in your work and put effort into a user friendly experience. Anyone using this is probably having enough stress looking into IVF already to add the annoyance of basic communication.

### 1/5 — Terrible ux

*2026-07-12, version 1.2.23*

This is a terrible app. It is marginally functional and was designed by a blind monk. Whoever built this should be fired. Out of a cannon. Into the sun.

### 1/5 — Pathetic app. Should not be allowed

*2026-07-11, version 1.2.23*

This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used in my life. And for something so important. It’s shocking that this is the quality and effort behind something that should be really well functioning. I hate it so much. Basic functionality doesn’t work. Appointments in the calendar make no sense. It’s unintuitive in general. The UI is pathetic and ugly. The notifications don’t clear even once you’ve read them. Just overall a piece of rubbish app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — One of the worst apps

*2026-08-16, version 1.2.23*

This app is not user friendly! The interface is horrible. It’s difficult to find new messages and very frustrating to navigate through the app to find what you need. It’s an archaic design that is in desperate need for an update. Patients using this portal are already exhausted and frustrated we need an easy to use well designed app as there is already a huge cognitive load during fertility treatments

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-08-09, version 1.2.23*

Possibly the worst app I’ve ever used. Every icon means something counterintuitive. It should be burned to the ground.

### 1/5 — Not Ideal

*2026-08-07, version 1.2.23*

This is a poorly executed app. There is not even a way to pay bills.

### 1/5 — Not great

*2026-08-04, version 1.2.23*

Closes out when I click on different tabs

### 1/5 — Worst app ever

*2026-07-31, version 1.2.23*

This app is the worst I have ever encountered the interface is from 2005 it’s not user friendly, constantly crashes, not intuitive, I cannot believe anyone actually uses this POS

### 1/5 — So bad

*2026-07-31, version 1.2.23*

This has got to be the worst app I've used. The buttons on the bottom of the screen don't get you to anywhere you want to go. The first screen isn't the "Home Screen" until you hit the home icon. I can't reply to my messages. If you want to reply to a message, you have to make a new message. And the badges get stuck even if I looked at all the notifications. I could go on and on. Make it better.

### 1/5 — Please don’t make your patients use this.

*2026-07-27, version 1.2.23*

It’s so frustrating to use. Horrible user experience.

### 1/5 — Not functioning

*2026-07-24, version 1.2.23*

Click on any did and it closes the app

### 1/5 — Stick to the website

*2026-07-23, version 1.2.23*

The app crashes all the time and you can’t do much on it. I know it’s still undevelopment and this seems like version one, but sticking to the actual website gets you further.

### 1/5 — App keeps crashing

*2026-07-23, version 1.2.23*

I like the convenience of having an app vs a website but anytime i try to update anything or fill anything out the app crashes.
