## What is Eject Water Now?

Dropped your phone in the pool? Speaker sounding muffled after a shower or a walk in the rain?

Tap the big drop. Eject Water Now plays low tones that shake the speaker, and that movement pushes water out through the grille. You can watch the droplets fly on screen while it runs.

When it's done, play the test sound and listen. Still a little muffled? Run it again.

Three ways to clear it:
Speaker. The bottom speaker, about 75 seconds.
Earpiece. The top speaker you hold to your ear. Flip the phone over and it starts on its own.
Deep clean. Longer, lower sweeps for water that won't budge, about 90 seconds.

A few things that help:
It plays even with the silent switch on.
It uses the phone's own speaker, even if your AirPods are connected.
Your phone buzzes along with the sound so you can feel it working. You can turn that off in Settings.
Start a run from the Action button or Control Center, or just tell Siri "Eject Water".

Good to know: this clears water from the speaker grille. It doesn't dry the inside of your phone or repair water damage, so let your phone dry out before you charge it.
