The app itself works well, but recently it feels like everything is locked behind a paywall. You can barely access clips without subscribing, and the pricing feels too expensive for smaller creators. It’s a good app overall, but the cost makes it hard to recommend to people who don’t have extra money to spend every month. But here’s the real review, the app worked amazingly about 6 months ago then they “updated” there AI and since then when you use the AI to edit the videos most of the time it zooms in on the videos and nothing more. I’ve reached out to ask about this and they always tell you go to the discord, and the people on there don’t help. You get a subscription for about 20$ a month but what they don’t tell you is they are starting to request VIP passes for the newer games like Arc Raiders for them to process the clips which is hidden behind another paywall. This app deserves a 2 because it helps get clips only, not worth anything else. I grabbed the app since I saw how other streamers were advertising it but then for another 20$ you can have a real person edit one video. ### 2/5 — Bugs everywhere!!! *2026-06-11, version 2.7.15* If it worked like it said it would I’d give it a higher rating. I literally troubleshooted my Facebook link for the app. Now it tells me I can’t connect something I just disconnected from. I can’t connect instagram after doing everything they told me to do. They don’t even have customer support, just a discord that you can’t submit a ticket too. Deleting this app for sure ### 1/5 — MONEY GRAB *2026-06-08, version 2.7.15* I highly recommend you look for another app if you were looking to get a free user account. You will not be able to get any clips if your stream is under two hours and you will only be allowed three clips a week. You do not get the opportunity to look and pick what clips you want from your streams, but you can still do free editing a free convert to TikTok, but you’d have to do it from another app to bring it to this app so I highly recommend you do not even bother to download this freaking app because they were literally doing it so they can have a money grab and push out all their free users do not fall for it. However now the app won’t even load my login. It keeps saying “Something went wrong” and I can’t even get into my account. I find ai captioning to be very generic and poorly written, definitely not grabbing attention to gain traction. Was told everything was fixed with the recent updates and continued to fix things only to pay for another month and have more issues than the first time. Forget spending hours after a long stream reviewing for the best clips. Either link your streaming (Twitch) account or upload your stream video and let Eklipse comb through the video and provide you some of the best clips from that stream. If you play some of their marketed games such as COD 7, Forza 6, or Arc Raiders they offer VIP passes to guarantee you get the best clips. With the mobile version is very laggy and is rough to edit. However the desktop versions is far more friends and seems to work smoother. They need to revamp “AI clipping” and look at the vocal capture aspect as it misses it a lot. Overall I’ve enjoyed using the app. Don’t believe the viral score though cause it puts it on anything. ### 5/5 — Made editing my gameplay so easy!!! *2026-03-30, version 2.7.3* Before I found Eklipse, I was completely lost as far as editing videos from my live stream. Now, all I do is let them handle it! About 10 minutes after I finish my stream I get a notification with all my game highlights ready to post. And if I want to edit them, they make that super easy too! ### 5/5 — The Better option for AI reel Highlights *2026-03-30, version 2.7.3* I’ve used a good couple of AI powered clipping tools, out of all of them, the pro subscription really makes the app shine with the feature set that becomes available. I will say the model could use some extra tweaks to capture clips more consistently, especially when using the hotwords to trigger clipping.
