### 3/5 — Room for improvements

*2026-07-05, version 5.48.0*

Reliably connects to the stethoscope, but the UI could use several improvements. 1) I’m unable to export more than one record at a time (I want to track heart rate results over time). 2) I should be able to view the heart rate result without opening the recording under the selected patient. Please add this to the recording summary. 3) Tachycardia threshold should adjust based on age. 4) would be nice to save results without subscription. 5) if I accidentally click done before assigning, it’s gone forever. 6) no ability to add manual entry for logging purposes. 7) no ability to start a recording from the selected patient. Must record from the listen tab then select the patient.

### 3/5 — Mid

*2026-05-09, version 5.48.0*

Slow moving and the phone has to be open. It works but not at my speed. Just listening is hella fast.

### 4/5 — Great for mild hearing loss

*2026-04-08, version 5.47.0*

There’s a bit of a learning curve for this old school nurse but worth it. With my mild hearing loss I was beginning to think I needed to hang up my stethoscope however the sound is so great I feel I can hear heart and lung sounds better than when I was in my prime.

### 4/5 — Where’s the watch app

*2026-03-26, version 5.46.0*

App works well. But, sometimes slow to connect to phone and having to look at
iPhone while examining the patient is cumbersome. It would be great if there was a watch app.

### 2/5 — Errors in Brazilian Portuguese translation

*2026-02-10*

The Brazilian Portuguese translation of the app is terrible. For example, the word “patients” should be translated as “pacientes”, but it was translated as “doentes”, which means sick people.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you pointing this out.

The app currently supports pt-PT (European Portuguese), not pt-BR (Brazilian Portuguese), so some terminology reflects regional language differences.

We understand certain terms may feel unnatural depending on your region. We’ll share this feedback with our team as we continue improving language support.

### 5/5 — Eko Digital Stet

*2026-02-02, version 5.44.0*

Great, reliable, friendly use, and nice to have it at work!

### 2/5 — Audiodatei nicht abspielbar !

*2026-02-01*

Somit nicht zu gebrauchen

### 5/5 — Artifact improving

*2026-01-09, version 5.43.0*

Noise cancellation and artifact management is improving. Thank you!

### 5/5 — I was asked to write a review just after connecting

*2025-12-21, version 5.42.0*

Biaised good reviews

### 4/5 — Good , value for money

*2025-12-12*

This one is heavier so In busy opd it’s difficult to handle

### 2/5 — Non functional unless you pay $$

*2025-10-27, version 5.39.1*

For a stethoscope that costs as much as it does, there’s no ability to even save a pdf of the ekg unless you pay $ monthly. This is poor.

### 2/5 — Hearing aids

*2025-10-15, version 5.39.1*

I have the recommended hearing aids but their instructions to listen through the hearing aids doesn’t make sense. The settings they are asking me to change on the iPhone don’t exist. They need to update their instructions for iPhone settings. Otherwise i cant get it to work.

### 1/5 — Surprisingly unhappy with this product

*2026-07-01, version 5.48.0*

I purchased this stethoscope with some extra CME funds, and I was so excited to try it in my practice. To start with, as a pediatrician I was disappointed that they don’t have a stethoscope designed for smaller humans. That being said, I was still looking forward to trying the new stethoscope with the rhythm and murmur analysis. I tried it first on myself and it detected a fib. I repeated the exam multiple times with the same results. The following day I scheduled an appointment with the cardiologist who did an EKG which was normal. We followed that with a seven day Holter monitor, which was also normal. Ultimately this has cost over $1000 in medical bills unnecessarily. What it appears it was detecting was sinus arrhythmia. I understand that this device is not designed to be perfect but with my N of 1, it has been very imperfect. The cardiologist I saw had tried the stethoscope and was also not a fan. He stated that “it seems to present more questions than answers.”

When I went to cancel my membership, the app made it impossible. When I finally got to the point where I was able to cancel I received an error message. I reached out to the support team via email and received a message that the wait times were longer than expected. I will now likely be charged for a full membership, which is ridiculous. I find it disappointing that this company has made it so difficult to cancel a membership. It seems that they want people to forget that they have a membership and leave it on auto renew. I am disappointed with the device, the customer service, and the app functionality. I would not recommend this product.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-06-29, version 5.48.0*

The sounds transmitted are very very poor

### 1/5 — Erroneous charges!

*2026-06-09, version 5.48.0*

DO NOT purchase this product and download the app! You will be billed $120 for a membership that you did not sign up for and you don’t need. There is no way to speak to a human on the customer service line. You can only email and they WILL NOT respond. Currently filing a report with the FTC for fraud. Stethoscope is packed and being returned. Super shady practice!!!!

### 1/5 — Pay to use

*2026-04-22, version 5.47.0*

It’s now pay to use err, you spend £££ on the product and it was free app, now it cost £119 a year for this app.
Surely if it said free app it should be free now they have changed it so only some basic services are free.

### 1/5 — Not great, now useless.

*2026-02-12, version 5.45.0*

Very basic without paid features, which are not great if you have spent becoming proficient in auscultation and ECG interpretation. Seems the latest updates also broke the app and the Eko device no longer connects. Customer service promised an update to fix this and claim this is now resolved however no update was released.

### 1/5 — Hyper aggressive subscription scheme

*2026-01-07, version 5.42.1*

Expensive equipment then a required subscription to use basic features. They force you to use a two week trial which also will auto renew if you don't cancel it.

Feedback:
1) give an option to connect the stethoscope directly to earbuds without the app
2) Don't force an auto-renew trial
3) Give an option for skipping the subscription fee with a one time payment

### 1/5 — App hounds you incessantly to upgrade for $120

*2025-12-25, version 5.42.1*

At every corner every turn it asks you to upgrade. No option for it to stop asking. What a garbage dev team.

### 1/5 — EKG NO WORKING

*2025-12-24, version 5.42.0*

After update the EKG is not working!! Very bad and sad.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-10-12, version 5.39.1*

Pay $500.00 for the Eko core 5000 then you’ll need pay 100.00 per year to use it. I’m reselling mine and now use my Apple Watch instead. Hire a better marketing team that understands you’ll get more money by letting people do monthly.

### 1/5 — Not compatible with Apple Watch

*2025-10-01, version 5.37.0*

Would be nice to toggle modes. Cardiac, pulmonary, wide… from my Apple Watch instead of having to pull my phone out to do so.

### 5/5 — PICU RN

*2026-03-04, version 5.45.2*

Just love it !!! 10/10

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2026-02-26, version 5.45.2*

I never write reviews, but this stethoscope blew me away and I decided to take the time to give my honest opinion. I got the purple one and the color is amazing. When I first unboxed it and used it, there was a learning curve, the placement is slightly different (I used the core prior to upgrading to the eko) and it’s a lot lighter than the core so that took some getting used to. When I’m in the ED, it’s a little cumbersome, but I detach the chest piece and pop in my earbuds (I use Bose ultra open, I hear everything around me and can still listen to the stethoscope) and use the chest piece independently. No dirty scope around the neck! Quality is amazing, it’s Littmann. AI detection of murmurs and abnormal rhythm is getting better everyday, it’s already really good, but a trained ear is needed to verify. Overall, this stethoscope has significantly improved my cardiac and pulmonary assessments. I would recommend this product for anyone that needs amazing cardiac and pulmonary assessments! They did a great job with this one & the battery lasts forever.

### 5/5 — Eko stethoscope

*2026-02-17, version 5.45.1*

As a veterinarian Eko is a game changer; helping to diagnose in the exam room earlier and earlier—even in those tiny pups n kittens. I can’t believe I found the Eko online by accident…!!

### 5/5 — My Eko Saved My Life

*2026-02-15, version 5.45.1*

Out of the box and anxious to play with my new toy/work tool I downloaded the app and tried it out on myself. ER OR CVICU nurse don’t listen to themselves. They are to busy taking care of everyone else. So I did the cardiac exam and it said I was in atrial fibrillation. Huh I thought no way and kinda blew it off. I’ve always been healthy. Eventually, about a week later I told a colleague about my new stethoscope and that it said I was afib. Being slow at the moment we hooked me up to ECG 12 lead. I was in bikini with multiple PVC’s!!! Post heart echo and cath I’m on an anti arrhythmic medication. Thank you Eko for saving this nurses life.
