I mentioned this over a year ago, but you haven’t fixed it, so I’m going to mention it again. Episode 10 in “Wizard School Dropout” cuts off midway and your stats don’t save, so you have to restart whenever you move on to the next episode, which is extremely annoying as you can’t get a “good” ending without the stats from previous episodes. I don’t know if it’s just an issue on my end, but since the issue was there over a year ago, I’m going to assume it’s not. Most of the other stories work just fine, but the amount of weird pausing and crashing I get ruins my experience and immersion sometimes, so I’d like a fix, and preferably soon. Also, I’ve contacted the developers by email and they didn’t fix the issue when I mentioned it and instead completely ignored me, so if you want me to support your app, I’d like a fix to the issues as well as better customer service. ### 3/5 — Confused *2021-02-12, version 1.22.0* When I downloaded this “game “ I thought it was interactive through a story but it turns out is a travel thingy? Although I can appreciate this ummm travel err ok basically I don’t know what to call it! There were only two choices I’m like really after about 90 mins your down all the cities now you can redo the whole thing using other option, which I should explain goes like this you wanna spend a lot or hardly nothing at all also the have you want breakfast or eat on run !!! This app would be good if they spent more times .... instead of 3 min per city you have a hour and more options!! ### 3/5 — This app is AMAZING!!! Just 2 side effects. *2020-02-24, version 1.19.0* I’ve had this app for a while now, and it’s INCREDIBLE!!!! And I love the fact that the developers added more content than ever, especially after the arrivals of Buzzfeed and FBE. I just have 2 problems with this app. 1. (MAJOR ISSUE; PLEASE READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING) There’s no parental rating system and most of the shows on Eko are not safe for kids (aside from the cooking shows and Make Or Break). I feel like that’s a MAJOR issue. Can there be a rating system that tells parents if kids can watch?? If so, that would be great. 2. Whenever I try to go to the main menu after an episode is over, the app usually crashes. Can there be an update to fix that please?? ### 3/5 — Would rate 5 stars, but... *2020-01-21, version 1.17.0* I’ve only played one story so far and I love it, despite how cheesy it is. The writing isn’t perfect but I don’t mind it anymore, I think of it as part as part of the fun. Despite my enjoyment, I have come across an issue with saving. I was on episode 8 of Wizard School dropout, and when I was finished I saw that I was still “unlicensed” even though I passed 1 episode before, and all of my secret items, experience and progress up to episode 8 had been deleted. If the game would actually save my progress, then I will give it 5 stars. But for now it’s 3. ### 4/5 — Excellent app but some tech issues *2020-01-11, version 1.17.0* I saw ads for Wizard School Dropout and decided to try the app. Every story I’ve played has been fun, has lots of choices, and keeps me totally hooked! Unfortunately, I keep randomly losing progress. I wanted to reply WSD to get all of the hidden items, but the story would reset me back to 0 skills and items every 2-3 episodes. If there was a way to ensure I could keep my progress, it would for sure be 5 stars! ### 4/5 — Amazing but I found a glitch 🙃 *2020-01-11, version 1.17.0* So I overall love this app and having it be choice based but real people like a tv show almost for yourself but I just want to state that there is a glitch I think. I keep trying to play episode 6 of wizard school dropout right? But it doesn’t load and keeps saying to reopen and close the app and I did but it still doesn’t work ### 4/5 — Crashes and unsaved stories *2020-01-10, version 1.17.0* The story had a problem in saving my story line in the wizard dropout. All the hearts I gained for z was empty, the item I found vanished, and I couldn’t see how much money I gained from the quests. Also, I was two episodes away of being done when it crashed on me. Overall love this app; but should have a thing where you can continue the story that you were on so that you don’t start from the beginning over and over again ### 3/5 — Fun, but super glitchy. *2019-12-26, version 1.16.0* This app would be awesome if it didn’t glitch out so frequently. I can’t get through a single episode without it freezing. Sometimes it let you back into the episode and continues, sometimes it won’t unfreeze even after multiple attempts of closing and opening, and sometimes you spend an hour going through multiple episodes and hours only to have your entire history of choices erased. So...yeah. ### 4/5 — Love the shows *2019-12-22, version 1.16.0* So I really love the shows but the app can use a little bit of funktionality. For instance it says you can download your shows for offline watching but I have yet to find out how to do that. Next every time I hit to watch the next episode it flops out of order to a totally different episode than it should be. Also can we get a rewind button instead of having to start over? Fix those issues and you’ll be a 5 star app!! I definitely love love love this app just fix the small issues! ### 4/5 — Confusing *2019-12-21, version 1.16.0* This app is fun and awesome! I haven’t had an issue with the crashing, but there are some moments that I would have loved to have some clarification. When do new episodes come out? For example, does a new Timeline episode come out every Friday or is it completely random when new episodes come out? How do I know if a story is complete or still leaving you hanging in the middle of the action? What exactly do the reactions mean? How do I know for sure when I have to make a choice? (in some of the stories, it’s unclear) As a reader - I really need more clarification about how this app works and how I know if a story is done or not. ### 3/5 — Great shows, poor app performance *2019-12-04, version 1.15.1* The shows are amazing! Really entertaining and funny! However the app crashes a lot and when you try and replay an episode the screen to zap/fog doesn’t load so you automatically fail. I am so sick of listening to Chud’s monologue for 5 minutes just trying to finish episode 11 of wizard school dropouts. Also look into a fast forward option please! ### 3/5 — Excellent shows - all the crashes *2019-12-02, version 1.14.2* The short: I have an iPhone 10. I’ve been trying to finish wizard school dropout with saved choices so I can see the better cutscenes at the end. If yours crashes and just wont reload- if you delete and reinstall the app it fixes it - it will play any episode again, but it doesn’t keep the saves. The long: The shows are well written, entertaining, and fun. Especially Wizard School Dropout. The cast is amazing, the acting is whimsical and fun to match the writing - and there are cameos from some of our favorite Felicia Day Guild folks. The choose your own adventure format is the future of fun interactive fiction. I almost gave this five stars just because of that. However, FIX THE APP please. I’ve been trying to finish wizard school drop out for 6 days. I’ve had to reinstall the app at least 4-5 times, and start over crashed 8-10 times. It’s crashed around 10-15 times. I still haven’t seen the ending. ### 3/5 — It’s fun, BUT... *2019-11-23, version 1.14.2* So I really liked the app at first (I NEVER had a problem with the app crashing like I read other reviews state) and the first story I’m reading is really fun (Epic Night). BUT when I get on the last episode, it’s east to tell that the story will progress the way “they” want it to regardless of your choices. The only thing I “dislike” about it is that it keeps on crashing. I don’t know if you can fix it but if you can that would be really appreciated. I love this app anyway so I’ll bear through it. I would appreciate it though if you could fix these crashes and errors or whatnot so it is a more enjoyable experience. The audio wasn’t smooth and like the last person said, there was two seconds out of frame rate. I really wanted to enjoy yet. I guess I’ll just have to stick with the web version. If they want people to keep playing with the app version, I hope they will fix this issue. At first I thought it was my Internet connection. It also isn’t designed for he iPad, so the quality wouldn’t be that great. Fine, I’ll use my iPhone 8. The phone can handle the app, but a lot of the words on the video I can’t read, and I have my glasses on. The floating videos are just way too small. The app crashed on me once and another time the video just paused with a circle leading me to believe it was loading, but nothing happened. Closing the app and starting again just gets me to the same spot. I got one reply before but it was not helpful at all which was frustrating and makes the experience less enjoyable… I was having issues and was told it was because I had an old phone, well I got a new one and had the same problem and I tried to contact Eko but still haven’t gotten a reply… ### 2/5 — Needs improvement ASAP (IMPORTANT!!) *2019-12-19, version 1.16.0* The first episode I started off with only lagged a couple of times, but when I tried interacting with the episode it wouldn’t even work properly. At first I thought maybe it was because I didn’t have any internet, but I’ve tried multiple times with and without the internet to complete another episode and it doesn’t even want to play correctly. The game/TV show never crashed for me but I’m tired of the episodes not running properly even when I have good wifi that works very well for all my other apps and games. Please just fix all these bugs because I can’t even get through another episode without being frustrated by all the lagging and the interaction function not even working. I believe this app has great potential and I want to support the developers, but please please please fix the app. ### 2/5 — Lag & Crashes *2018-03-29, version 1.6.0* Downloaded this yesterday and I love the idea, but the lag makes this entirely unplayable for me. The screen constantly freezes and glitches. I thought it was just apart of the game eventually because it has been like this since I started, but it finally froze for a long time and crashed. It really makes you feel like you are part of the show. I really hope y’all introduce more series and I can’t wait to try them all. I also played clothes call. I wish they gave you more clothes options instead of two to pick from cause if you pick the wrong one then you next options linked to it. So I guess I wish the options were more independent of each other and not linked to your first choice cause I may have pick a different shoe if I had the option you don’t have much to work with.
