Te cobran todo sin el descuento. Whats the point in having it? A total con. ### 1/5 — Wasn’t fully impressed *2024-03-18, version 1.69* Like a lot of people I saw in the App Store that you get a free coffee upon downloading and signing up within the EL&N app. Being in London today with my Mum I tried it. It’s true - generously you get given £5 of points to spend instantly on anything you want, providing you order directly from within the app under “Order to your table” option which then allows you to redeem the points. The first issue was approaching a EL&N in London, went in to be told by a nice manager that its table system wasn’t working & we’d have to use another EL&N to use the points, which was fair enough. Went to the next EL&N, with my mum and was told by the woman showing us in that the app wouldn’t work to allow us a drink in store via the points, only a takeaway. After I kept telling her it should work based on the instructions within the app I’d seen, she told me “You are welcome to try & see if you can order to the table.” Both me & my mum were able to do this, without issue. We both thought that surely a manager would know this and should have been more welcoming of us as customers and the offer. It gave me the feeling they didn’t want people using the cafe to redeem the offer, despite the fact I told the manager I’d like to use EL&N in future. While glossy from the outside, we both didn’t like the atmosphere which wasn’t as warm compared to another coffee shop that day. Utterly useless and pointless app. ## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Seamless, efficient and easy, great team! *2023-03-13, version 1.61* I usually sit in because I like the ambience and El&N’s opening hours work well for me, but I was heading to work and noticed they offered Click&Collect on the app. They offered the majority of the menu which was great! Easy to use and I was able to use Apple Pay which was a bonus. put my order through, and selected a time to pick it up. I arrived slightly earlier but my order was ready moments later, which I was pleasantly surprised at!! Didn’t have to wait long at all. Warm and friendly team as well And of course, the coffee tasted great!! Will be retuning and making use of this when I’m on a time crunch. Can’t fault it at all.
