I had to call in and still when I checked in the receptionist interrogated me about the additional appointments. ### 3/5 — No longer able to login *2025-03-12, version 2.5.1* Updated March 2025: Now the app won’t allow me to logon at all. It says there’s no email or address on file. But the El Camino Health “My Health” website works fine. And my email and phone are, in fact, showing as Confirmed on the website. Original review: The app starts by asking a few insurance questions, and no matter whether I click Yes or No for each question, it ends up responding with an option or message that is completely irrelevant to my answer, and then finally says I can’t book the appointment via the app. ### 3/5 — Not possible to create an appointment *2024-06-12* The app starts by asking a few insurance questions, and no matter whether I click Yes or No for each question, it ends up responding with an option or message that is completely irrelevant to my answer, and then finally says I can’t book the appointment via the app. Also, the in-app feedback doesn’t work. First it asks for a rating, then it asks for a comment to explain the rating. As soon as I click in the comment section, the Submit button is removed and it’s no longer possible to submit the feedback. If I change the rating, the button reappears. However, when I click the button, the app says “Error. Your feedback could not be submitted.” That error occurs regardless of whether or not I include a comment. ### 3/5 — Stop logging me out. If I don't consent to sharing my location data, the app will not let me proceed to book appointment or contact my doctor via my app. ### 1/5 — Billing *2025-01-05, version 2.5.1* My doctor who has been associated to El Camino has been awesome. Billing on the other hand has been completely disastrous. I’ve tried calling many times before and after a surgery. I’ve left messages and I don’t seem to get calls back until I write a nasty review or complain to my doctor. I’m now in collections and don’t know exactly what happened. I paid a $2k out of pocket and then after all was said and done, they credited me approximately $1900. I tried calling to ask why the credit and now today I’ve received a collection letter for over $1k while I have another for about $300. I just can’t with these people. The autofill doesn’t work because the app doesn’t signal to the password manager what website it is for. And you can’t save a password or use biometrics. But the biggest barrier to entry/use is that it doesn’t stay signed into MyCare, doesn’t use biometrics (even though it’s turned on in Settings), and doesn’t even remember your username, causing users to have to manually log in… which can be multiple times a day. ### 2/5 — where my result? *2024-06-03, version 2.5.1* Dr. send me for procedure. i saw the result couple of weeks ago. no It’s gone! why? I had a CT scan yesterday (in French 😉) and Taryn was an absolute angel. Professional, full of joy and so kind and attentive. Even for a simple check an hospital is intimidating and stressful, that is why I am grateful for members of staff like Taryn for going the extra mile to make her patients more at ease for an optimal health care. We had a couple ER visit for our two year old son and we are blessed that we went to this hospital. Thank you to everyone will help us and help our son to feel normal in a couple days. ### 5/5 — My Review of Surgeon, Nurses, Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist and Support Staff *2023-11-01, version 2.4.2* On September 5th 2023i went to El camino hospital for surgery for a fractured right leg. I was greeted with kindness and respect. Pre Operative staff was very kind and professional explained each step of my surgery. The anesthesiologist and his assistant was very kind to me. They explained what they were going to do before they wheeled me into the operating room. The surgeon did a good job to repair my featured tibia. Recovery staff very kind. When I was admitted to the hospital for over night observation the Nurses and all nursing staff I commend them for job they did during my stay ( good job keep it up). The physical therapist and occupation therapist kind and professional showed me how to get out of bed using a walker and move around safely l commend them (good job keep it up). My meals was vey good brought to me timely. Finally my room was clean and comfortable , noise level minimum.
