## What is EL Range?

SWAROVSKI OPTIK EL RANGE CONFIGURATOR APP

It’s easy to customize your EL Range binoculars. Transfer your personal ballistics data directly via the app, and you can even use it on your smartphone.

The EL range offers you a variety of useful additional settings. These can be easily configured via the EL Range Configurator App. 
The following programs and additional functions are available:

- Track: Tracking Assistant for navigating to the last location measured
- Comp: Compass calibration
- Plus: Display of second line
- Light: Individual brightness adjustment
- Atmos data: Display of current temperature & air pressure
- Units: Metric/imperial switch
- Rifle: Firearm selection

Note: The EL Range app does not support iOS 18+, please install the Hunting App.

Scope options limited to Swaro only which is fine but could be more helpful with non OEM options. The app doesn’t work fully in portrait mode with iPhone. It’s a little clunky so hopefully gets a tidy up.

App erased all my rifle and ballistics info.  Struggled to add it back.  Now app won’t let me change any of the settings.  Basically, due to app issues I can’t use most of the bino’s functionality.  Swaro needs to do bug fixes and upgrade the app quickly or word will spread that it’s unreliable and sales/reputation may suffer.

I have had nothing but problems with this app, crashes every few weeks, I have to re-download it erasing all of my ballistic data every time. Seems like a simple bug fix would fix the problems everyone is having!!!  The Binos are great glass but a mediocre rangefinder. Should have got a vortex…much more reliable and thier ballistic program is far superior!! Come on Swarovski!!

People are spending $4000 on these. You guys need to fix this app! Add all scopes, make it so we can fine tune it. Zeiss and vortex are WAY better and user friendly. It’s ridiculous people spend this much money and you guys don’t provide a good app. FIX IT! I would not recommend this to anyone, which is shameful. You guys are supposed too be the best.

Really need to update this with more scope options (not everyone shoots swaro scopes) and more data to input. For a nz$5800 pair of binos this app should be a lot better. Its like it’s just an after thought. Very disappointing.

If I can’t pick a scope I can’t pick a ballistic profile. Makes the system useless

The app won’t populate a rifle scope and only offers the use of a Swarovski scope.  It also would be beneficial to offer the ability to pair with a kestrel and import ballistic data from hornady 4DOF soft ware or applied Ballistics to auto populate custom drag models etc.

The el range TA is fine. It worked okay with original app version. Recently the app offloaded and lost all of my calibrated measurements. Not only did it lose them all but when I try to rebuild them, I can no longer finish building a rifle profile due to no scope entry options. Not talking about how it limits you to only Swarovski scope entries, but I can’t even fudge one in to get it working now as there isn’t even that option. I’m currently without the ability to use the rangefinding & MOA display at all. Should’ve stuck with Leica or Zeiss. Being stuck to three rifles is not ideal. Losing the data was not cool. I gave the suggestion about a year ago to give the option to copy the ranged coordinates so you could paste into OnX or similar but it still wasn’t there last time the app actually worked.

App keeps crashing trying to use tracking assist. It will plot the range and location on the phone but as soon as you try and navigate it crashes.
