## What is El Tesoro del Delfín?

Aplicación  oficial  del  Museo  del  Prado.  Esta  aplicación  es  una  magnífica  herramienta  para  conocer  el  Tesoro  del  Delfín  y  disfrutar  de  la  colección  hasta  el  más  mínimo  detalle.  Cada  obra  va  acompañada  de  su  ficha  técnica,  curiosidades  y  la  reproducción  de  su  estuche,  si  se  conserva.  Además,  las  piezas  pueden  ser  ampliadas  y  visualizadas  360º  deslizando  los  dedos  sobre  la  pantalla  del  dispositivo,  lo  que  supone  una  experiencia  única.  

Felipe  V  (1683-1746),  primer  rey  Borbón  español  y  nieto  de  Luis  XIV  (1638-1715),  heredó  de  su  padre,  Luis,  el  Gran  Delfín  de  Francia  (1661-1711),  una  excepcional  colección  de  vasos  en  cristal  de  roca  y  piedras  ornamentales,  tradicionalmente  denominadas  "piedras  duras",  enriquecidos  en  su  mayoría  con  guarniciones  de  oro  y  plata,  y  con  diamantes,  rubíes,  esmeraldas,  perlas  y  otras  gemas.  Este  conjunto  es  conocido  como  el  Tesoro  del  Delfín.

La  rareza  de  los  materiales  empleados  en  este  tipo  de  creaciones  conceptualmente  complejas  y  la  destreza  técnica  que  implicaba  su  factura  y  decoración  explican  que  fueran  tan  apreciadas,  a  veces  por  encima  de  otras  obras  de  arte  como  pinturas  o  esculturas,  tradicionalmente  mejor  valoradas.  

Conoce  su  origen,  los  materiales  utilizados  en  su  fabricación  y  los  diferentestalleres  involucrados,  así  como  la  historia  del  conjunto  y  los  valiosos  estuches  que  protegían  las  obras.  Una  colección  única  que  se  exhibe  completa,  desde  2018,  en  el  Museo  del  Prado.

I can see one piece of art, but it appears that I'd have to pay $1.99 to see more. I can't tell if that's $1.99 per piece or for all the rest, bc the instructions are in Castellan. I did read that the software allows in-app purchases, but I didn't imagine I'd have to pay to see 99+% of the objects.

Es interesante pero de calidad muy inferior a las otras apps del Museo Del Prado. Es una pena, Cuando amplías las imágenes se ven desenfocadas. El diseño es muy flojo con una tipografía cutre.
