SUB Firmware 2.9.13 Hardware Version: 4 App Version: 1.0.23 iPhone XR, iOS 15.6. Meine App spricht den Elac Sub 2070 von Beginn an mit jeder iOS Version seit Herbst 2020 ohne Probleme an. War bei mir nie anders. Somit ist die wichtigste Funktion der Einmessung absolut ok. Bin mit dem SUB super zufrieden. Die eigene Einmessung des ELAC SUB 2070 funktioniert bei mir exzellent. Zuerst SUB einnässendes, erst dann den AV Receiver. Alles was der AVR danach noch im Bass „meint“ extra korrigieren zu müssen stelle ich manuell am AVR wieder zurück. Die Trennfrequenz am AV- Receiver ist bei mir fest auf 80Hz für Musik und Kino. Der SUB selbst wird bei mir mit der App nicht eingegrenzt - denn bei Movies können trotz 80Hz Trennfrequenz am AVR trotzdem bis 120 Hz Signale am SUB Ausgang anliegen! KEIN Dröhnen am Hörplatz! Bässe bis in den tiefsten Keller. Ein Traum für mich im 30qm Wohnzimmer - sowohl für Musik als auch Filmgenuss. JA - ich bin begeistert von dem Teil! Die App selbst ist eher sehr rudimentär in Aufbau und Bedienung, macht aber bei der Einmessung was sie soll um den Sub in die akustisch richtige Schwingung zu versetzen. ;-) Leider wird die App schon lange nicht mehr weiter entwickelt. Schade. ### 3/5 — The name causes iOS 15 to change “20” to “2.0” in predictive text *2022-03-15, version 1.0.23* The app works fine for controlling the sub, but on iOS 15 an app with “2.0” in the name causes the predictive text to want to change every instance of “20” to “2.0” by default. Hopefully apple fixes this or the devs can rename this to “sub control 2” instead. ### 2/5 — Ernüchternd ! *2021-10-21, version 1.0.23* Ich will hier garnicht viel zu dem jahrelangen Disaster schreiben. Nachdem ich die 2.0 App installiert hatte ging leider auch nix. Nach fast 2 Jahren habe ich dann mal ne Information im Netz gefunden das man eine neue Software aufspielen muss. Gesagt getan, aber die 2.0 App findet den Sub nicht. App einfach mal gelöscht und neu aufs iPhone 11 mit IOS 14 geladen > jetzt wird der 2070 gefunden und es lässt sich alles einstellen. Da es auch Probleme durch den verwendeten Stick geben kann, besonders beim formatieren mit Apple > Einfach mal den ELAC Support anrufen 📞 ! Die haben mir nämlich sehr weitergeholfen und mit etwas Glück bekommt man auch ne Anleitung inkl. Stick mit der Software zugeschickt. Hier nochmal einen herzlichen Dank an den freundlichen Mitarbeiter vom ELAC Support 👍🏽 ### 4/5 — Works pretty well *2021-01-12, version 1.0.23* This app works pretty well on my SUB3010 which arrived with the latest firmware already installed. It has sporadically crashed and the room correction result timeout is a bit annoying, but it is generally responsive. I am a very experienced audio tuner who normally uses Yamaha receivers so that I can manually perfect sub configurations from the listening position. Stock EQ presets seem a bit off from reality (I have not yet confirmed this with an analyzer), so you definitely want to run music or movie EQ modes to get the deep bass extension you paid for on the spec sheet ;) ### 1/5 — Ganz schlecht *2020-11-17, version 1.0.23* Finger weg von Elac. So all went well and I installed this new app and there is a major BUG the master volume changes at random both lower and louder with no user input. Please fix this issue since there is no manual volume control. ### 2/5 — Only Worked Once. *2020-08-02, version 1.0.23* When I first used the app it connected and calibrated my sub successfully, but I wanted to recalibrate because I had installed new floors and purchased isolators for the sub. It now connects to the sub but the calibration no longer works. I am unable to connect my sub 2050 to the app even after repeated attempts to do all what their customer care said . They always send the hex file and I followed all instructions. The led blinked as per the instructions. However, the app would be keep on searching for the Sub. It is probably because of the most recent IOS app update. Android app still works well. Previous issue was resolved by an app update. However unfortunately it stopped working again. This seems recurring issue. They really should test the app with their products before releasing a new version. Previous review: Previous version worked fine. With this update, I can no longer connect to my SUB3010 subwoofer. The app gets stuck in start page showing “searching for subwoofers”. I tried reinstalling the app and reset subwoofer by holding the bottom for 5 sec until it blinks, neither helped. However it can connect to my friend’s same model subwoofer. Auch löscht sich der Auto EQ immer wieder.
