## What is Elakka?

Elakka gives cardamom farmers and traders the latest auction price as soon as each auction ends, a forecast for the next
auctions, and a simple way to decide whether to sell now or wait.

  PRICE AFTER EVERY AUCTION
  • Average and highest price from the latest Spices Board e-auction (Bodinayakanur and Puttady)
  • Change from the auction before, and how many days the price has been rising or falling
  • Expected price range for the next two auction days

  SELL NOW OR WAIT?
Enter how many kg you have and see what it is worth at today's price, and what it could be worth if you wait for the next
  auction.

  ALERTS YOU CAN CHOOSE
  • A notification after every auction (about 2 a day) with the new price
  • A morning summary at 7 AM with the price, the forecast and rainfall in the cardamom hills
  • Every message is saved in the app to read again later

  CHARTS
  • Price and supply for every auction day, from one week to all years since 2021
  • Rain map for Idukki and Bodi
  • Prices around festivals compared across the years

  IN YOUR LANGUAGE
English, தமிழ் and മലയാളം. Switch at any time in Settings.

  SHARE IN ONE TAP
Send today's price to family, friends or buyers on WhatsApp.

  FREE AND PRIVATE
No sign-up and no account. Elakka never asks for your location, contacts or personal details.

Prices come from the Spices Board of India online auctions. Rainfall is from the Open-Meteo weather service. Forecasts are
estimates, not promises. Your own price also depends on the quality of your cardamom. Elakka is for information only and is not
  buying or selling advice.
