### 2/5 — App is OK, if you can get in

*2026-05-19, version 8.0.0*

When I try to use my password app, I just get a blurry screen once selecting the password. So I have to go to my password and copy the password and then paste it in. This app also needs Face ID support.

### 3/5 — Change to other patient

*2026-05-04, version 8.0.0*

I have been using the website since there seems to miss a feature to change between patient profiles… I only can view my profile, and only through the website see my son’s profile.

### 3/5 — Yes but no

*2026-03-24, version 8.0.0*

I like the simplicity of this app compared to larger platforms like MyChart. I have three features that would assist me better to get to that 5 star rating. 1) when you go to attach in the app you can not select from files only from photos. Large files are going to be hundreds of screenshots. You can only attach files if you submit from an actual computer. 2) unable to edit basic info like emergency contact. 3.) a location for upcoming appointments and previous appointment logs.

### 1/5 — Basically useless

*2026-02-02, version 8.0.0*

Let me start by saying that I work in the electronic medical record space. I have seen it all, and this is by far the worst patient portal I’ve ever seen. Basically all you can do is message with your provider. No real visit history, no discrete lab results, no way to see billing information. It’s just a joke.

### 1/5 — Do better

*2026-01-30, version 8.0.0*

This app is so basic it’s shocking. Basically all you can do is message. The booking system doesn’t show upcoming appointments, and takes you to a browser when you want to book a new appointment. The profile cannot be updated (eg to add emergency contacts). No way to do refills, etc.

Contrast this with something like MyChart. Supports multiple offices, has biometric support, and so many features (refills, meds, test results, much better communications, location features, full featured booking, etc, etc). No wonder that EHR app has a 4.6/5 rating, versus this one with 2.3 - which I think is generous. No excuse in this day and age for an EHR app with such a poor feature set.

### 1/5 — Only allows one practice

*2025-11-28, version 8.0.0*

Only allows one practice. Can’t add my primary care

### 2/5 — Access to all my Doctors please

*2025-11-03, version 8.0.0*

Not user friendly. Have 2 doctors communicating through this app and it is Impossible to access more that one doctor

### 1/5 — Answering to text/results

*2025-10-12, version 8.0.0*

Cannot write in my info

### 1/5 — Worst medical portal ever

*2025-09-23, version 8.0.0*

This portal is useless but today’s annoyance was not being able to print the reports. I wasted time at the website Q&A to see if there were instructions but found none. I printed my docs. by logging to my account, in the website. What is the point of an APP if one still has to use the website. Printing via the website isn’t great because a big fat line blanks out a section of info. Doctors office said they get endless complaints about ElationPassport portal.

### 1/5 — Impossible

*2025-09-02, version 8.0.0*

Had the same result at other person. This app is downright combative. I guess doctors like it, but patients? It’s an annoying, unusable mess. Don’t these techs test on live humanoids?!

### 2/5 — Could be so much better

*2025-06-05, version 8.0.0*

The quick view of my child’s (I stress “child”, singular) medical history and exporting is nice. However, in the iOS App I can’t switch between patients. I have CHILDREN and can only view one of them in app. That’s extremely poor functionality.

### 3/5 — Not intuitive

*2025-06-01, version 8.0.0*

The design is not intuitive, I got an email saying I had a post visit follow up and I’ve clicked through every email and screen in the app and I do not see any follow up. Intuitively it would be in the inbox that pops up as soon as I open the app. Additionally, i’m trying to provide my doctor with a previous lab report and you can’t even attach PDFs as attachments, you can only attach photos. That’s ridiculous and shows that this app is rushed.

### 1/5 — Not particularly useful

*2025-05-07, version 8.0.0*

Basically a semi secured (only password) messaging app without ability to attach files when communicating with my doctor.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t allow for multiple accounts

*2025-05-03, version 8.0.0*

I have a couple different providers tied to my profile and it defaults to one of them with no option to select the other

### 1/5 — The core functionality is so buggy

*2025-04-22, version 8.0.0*

If you resume the app, it lacks authentication session. But the app just won’t check for that until after you’ve spent the time typing your message back to the doctor, hit submit, and it throws everything you wrote away to tell you you need to sign in again.

It’s absolutely the worst app on my phone at doing its core functionality well.

### 2/5 — Poor functionality

*2025-04-11, version 8.0.0*

I would much prefer a text or a phone message

### 1/5 — Unable to switch providers

*2025-04-07, version 8.0.0*

I have profiles with 2 providers. This app only lets me see one of them…

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Bad for business

*2026-06-13, version 8.0.0*

This app meets barest of requirements for health tech. It seems like something that was developed years ago by first year engineers & never revised. It is terribly slow to load and does not have a place to access labs or records. If all you want is messaging and a place to hold your patient profile, this is it. Who doesn’t want access to labs and records? UX is important-I am considering leaving my Dr because this app makes communications and managing my care so difficult.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-06-12, version 8.0.0*

Not seamless. App is NOT the same as Elation website - it does not allow for multiple providers.

### 1/5 — Poor functionality

*2026-06-03, version 8.0.0*

Doesn’t allow for downloading lab reports or other documents. Tried the pdf file section but even that doesn’t work. I wish my doctor didn’t use this.

### 1/5 — Almost useless

*2026-06-03, version 8.0.0*

Much of the data from the website doesn’t show up in this app. It’s basically only good for messaging, booking appts, or checking your emergency contact info. Appt history isn’t available, diagnosis aren’t available, prescriptions aren’t available, essentially none of your profile info is available on the app. Also, my password manager seemed to render the login page unusable, as once the login info was automatically entered, the page “collapsed” into a thin line without a login button.
This is seriously one of the worst apps I’ve ever used.

### 1/5 — Buggy app

*2026-06-02, version 8.0.0*

App simply freezes after login

### 1/5 — To simple and lacks In areas

*2026-05-28, version 8.0.0*

When I first got the app I could see info about appointments and that’s all.

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2026-05-23, version 8.0.0*

The app was working til recently. It now just shows a blank screen after trying to log in. I can still access my account via the website but app is useless until fixed.

### 1/5 — App stopped working

*2026-05-21, version 8.0.0*

I deleted it, reinstalled and it continues to open and show a blank page, please fix this

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-02-15, version 8.0.0*

Logs out of account after use so no notifications , must sign in each time to use.

### 1/5 — No tactical support

*2026-02-12, version 8.0.0*

I have contacted repeatedly because the only doctor I can see on my elevation app is a specialist and not my general practitioner. I have to log into the website to access my general practitioner. There is no support for this app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — They actually fixed it

*2026-07-06, version 10.0.1*

I had trouble logging in using my password app and they actually fixed it and added Face ID support. The app is good enough once you’re in and now I can actually get in.

### 5/5 — Easy

*2025-11-06, version 8.0.0*

The app is easy and simple to use. You can use it to communicate with your doctor’s office and get information in return. You can also view your records and request referrals, refills, appointments and advice. Security is primary.

### 5/5 — Office visits

*2025-10-11, version 8.0.0*

I love Dr.Choudhary
She always shows me that she cares about her patients.

### 5/5 — Elation Passport

*2020-05-13, version 4.0.0*

I love the way I can get a referral, make an appointment, get a prescription refill without having to make a phone call, or leave a message for the doctor, this is great, very convenient

### 5/5 — App lacks fuctionality for patients

*2019-07-11*

It is a very straightforward app. But as pointed out in other reviews, every medical practice has it’s own patient portal and none of them interact with the other. In order for doctor’s to truly converse or exchange notes or health summary on a patient is for all of the portals to exchange information on the patient, provided the patient give permission for the portals to talk to each other. I’m not sure what role HIPPA plays in all of this; but it seems to me, if the patient gives each doctor permission, it should work out ok. This would then truely be doctor’s coming together as a team for the benefit of the patient. I personally believe that All specialized doctors should at least be reporting to a patient’s primary care doctor, so that doctor has a whole picture of what’s going on with their patient. I would think it would be difficult for a primary care doctor to properly treat a patient without all of the information on that patient’s health from all of the specialist the patient has seen.

### 5/5 — Excellent design

*2018-09-08*

Love this app! This allows me to communicate with my doctor on my phone easily, which used to be impossible. Anyone else who has had the painful experience of waiting on hold for a doctor to get back to you, I highly recommend you download this app. Ask your doctor if they use elation because it really helps the patient experience too.

### 5/5 — Helpful & easy to use!

*2018-08-12, version 1.0*

I like having quick access to notes from my doctor. It’s easy to pull up and refer to lab results through the app. I also like that I can easily message my doctor through the app.

### 5/5 — Wow.

*2017-11-02, version 1.0*

Typically I'd have a really low bar for any "tech" my dr offers, but the Elation experience is legitimately great. I feel like my doc and I have stepped into the modern era. I can use this like I use my other apps and services. That can't be said for any other experience in healthcare.

### 5/5 — Helpful app

*2017-08-30, version 1.0*

This app helps facilitate 2-way communication between me and my doctor. I love not having to use my laptop, it's all right here in my pocket.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2017-08-29, version 1.0*

Nice and easy to use. Lets me know whenever my doc sends a message, and also allows me to message my doc straight from the app!
