## What is Eld99?

ELD99 is a DOT FMCSA self-certified electronic logging application designed to accurately record driver duty status and ensure compliance with U.S. Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.


Key Compliance Features:

Supports 60-hour/7-day and 70-hour/8-day HOS rules
Includes 34-hour restart with mandatory two consecutive rest periods between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
Enforces 11-hour daily driving and 14-hour maximum on-duty limits
Includes support for Sleeper Berth and Passenger Seat provisions
Allows Personal Conveyance status when authorized
Complies with the 30-minute break requirement after 8 hours on duty
Automatically records vehicle location:
When engine turns on/off
Every 60 minutes while the vehicle is in motion
Duty status changes can only be made when the vehicle is stationary
Alerts the driver (visually and/or audibly) of any device malfunction

Automatically switches to “On-Duty Not Driving” when the vehicle is stationary for 5 minutes, prompting the driver to confirm or update their status
